You obviously do not have teen children.
The Viking kitties agree with me. ZOT!
Dude you just stepped into chit, big time, since day one mind you , we supported Sarah Palin here on FR and BTW the Boss is not going to like this thread!
Bush’s TARP was not a bailout, fool!
On all except health care, Levin still sounded like a RomneyBot on Rush yesterday...
And yes, victims of this strain closely resemble members of a cult of personality.
Cain and Bachmann are OK, but neither has Palin’s experience.
Cain’s pizza was the best — I mean, who didn’t love Godfather’s Pizza? — but he has no government successes under his belt. Also, I think Hussein has ruined it for any black man running for the presidency for the next 50 years. He’s a dismal failure, and non-thinking people, especially Independents, will automatically make that connection (sadly). If it came down to a race between Hussein and Cain, most non-thinking voters would choose the devil they know.
Bachmann has good qualities, but to me she seems like a flibbertigibbet, being a bit on the hyper side; her eyes seem to dart around a lot as if she’s not focused or serious.
Coulter’s jealous of Palin’s looks and popularity. You’re a “Coulter Fan”. It makes sense that you’re not a Palin fan.
I could hold my nose and vote for either in the general election, but I’m hoping for a Palin/West ticket.
You know, Palin's OK and all, but it's statements like this that I find a little over the top. My take on Palin is that she's a pretty typical, down the line conservative, but I just don't see what's all that special about her. She's not actually the only who "tells it like it is." She basically just says stuff we already know (or I would hope we already know). She's preaching to the choir, which the choir obviously likes, but doesn't really qualify as being all that gutsy. I mean, she tells conservatives conservative things that conservatives like to hear. What's the big deal?
Sarah Palin's executive experience extends far beyond the governor's office of Alaska (which, as the nation's largest state, she ran superbly and garnered unprecedented popularity). She was also two-term mayor of the fast-growing suburb of Wasilla. And she served with honor on the city council.
When (not if but WHEN) she becomes president, she'll have an enviable track records of two decades in elected office.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of conservatives that feel like you do and this is why Obama will be reelected. I live in AZ and I would have preferred someone other than McCain too, but I did not get a chance to make that decision. By the time we had our Primary McCain was the guy. And that is going to happen to a lot of other voters.
"You can do what you want, but you can't want what you want." - Schopenhauer
The difference is, that for the first time since Reagan, conservatism and it's message has someone that can carry the message.
Many obscure politicians over the decades have been good conservatives, just as most of us here are, we just can't overcome the media, the party machines, and our own shortcomings as politicians to become a charismatic, effective, national leader, with a bull horn, that is tied as the front runner for the GOP Presidential primary and that we all know has a real likelihood of winning the nomination, this time the conservative choice, is not some 2% fantasy, but last elections vice Presidential candidate for the GOP.
This is a unique place for conservatism to be, support it, feed the momentum, don't struggle to stop it.
‘shes the one that allowed Levi Johnston to knock up her daughter,’——
You really are utterly ridiculous.
Really? Is that the way you put it?
You talk about about a 'cult of personality'? With that comment alone, you gives off an odor of being 'Talibanish' yourself.
I must disagree with you. The left feel in love with Obama because he as an extreme liberal/progressive. He promised to deliver on every radical agenda. The only complaint the left has is he hasn't been extremely left. Your statement makes it sound like the left was duped by Obama.
So I can't comment on your post because your premise is false.
I haven’t made up my mind yet but you seem to think that she had some control over her daughter, I hope you don’t have to learn the hard way on that kind of stuff.
Is your mother still responsible for all your mistakes?
About her leaving her job as governor, she wasn’t able to govern because the MSM and liberals were constantly suing her and hounding her, she did the state of Alaska a favor.
I am still waiting to see if she has substance and it is hard to see that if you follow the MSM.
Well, you have to give Obama some credit. He says he inherited Bush’s mess and when you look, he’s made it worse.
