A man who appeared in a Navy SEAL uniform at a Thousand Oaks school event this week apparently never served in the Navy, military officials said Wednesday.
Salhem Dreasden was among those in uniform Tuesday at a tribute to soldiers at Ladera School. The school was honored at the event for outstanding patriotism and support of the armed forces.
Dreasden was wearing a Navy uniform that bore his last name, the words "SEAL TEAM," the trident pin insignia of the elite unit and twin bars indicating the rank of Navy lieutenant.
The name Salhem Dreasden, however, does not appear anywhere in databases of Navy service members that go back to at least the Vietnam War, said Katie Suich, a spokeswoman for the Navy Personnel Command in Tennessee. There aren't any S. Dreasdens in the database, either, she said.

I agree...I was copying someone else's comment.
I missed something...what profile photo?
Correct me if I’m wrong, because I and a USA Grunt do not keep up with USAF ranks but
E7 - Master Sergeant
E8 - Senior Master Sergeant
E9 - Chief Master Sergeant and Command Chief Master Sergeant
The Navy SEAL's don't. But, I've seen lots of pictures of fat seals hanging around the SF bay area. Perhaps this is one that migrated?

It looks like this dude may have been posing back in 2005. At the link:
“So, the deal is he is NOT a SEAL. He stole that car. He does NOT own a business. His real name is not Salhem Dreasden it is Dan.”
I have the feeling that he may receive a visit sometime soon...
Al Qaeda may be the least of his worries. If Seal Team Six can find Bin Laden from half a world away and in a foreign country...
Each of these ranks also have a “position” of First Sergeant that is designated with a diamond between the upper and lower chevrons.
It looks like this guy uses the screen name “neoduckie” around the net.
No, the first thing he needs to do is lose about 40 pounds. No way he could be a Seal.

Air Force
E-9 is a Chief Mater Sgt., First Sgt, or a Command Chief Master Sgt. all with three upper chevrons.
E-8 is a Senior Master Sgt. or a First Sgt. but each has only 2 chevrons at the top.
E-7 is a Master Sgt or a First Sgt. but has a single upper chevron.

I served in the USMC for 4 years and the majority of the veterans at my civilian job never knew I served until some new employee started ragging on me about how he had served as a marine sniper and made comments about my never having been in the service.
I never served in war time missing the Vietnam war by a year and getting discharged 6 months or so before my unit was deployed in a few Reagan era actions.
I showed up the next day at work with my DD-214 and called on the new guy to produce proof he had been a USMC sniper. I had already verified through sources that he was an E-3 motarman and had never attended sniper school.
For a week following my outing of his lies he would go home sick everytime I walked into the worksite and then begged a transfer out of state within a week.
Thanks, like I said I do not keep up with Air Force ranks, because to be honest, they are confusing! LOL
True but if he gets something of value then he can be jailed for thief or something like that.
Mark.
Really? He's a Corpse man?
He can't even spell it right on his own poser page?
