California lawmakers have opened the door to state-funded financial aid for immigrant college students who entered the United States illegally.
. . . Assemblyman Gil Cedillo, a Los Angeles Democrat, has introduced similar legislation each year since 2005 only to see it vetoed by Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger

Even if it were the right thing to do, and it isn’t, WE ARE BROKE.
How is it that they can’t understand this?
WE ARE BROKE. Not only are all NEW expenditures off the table, but we’re also going to have to make 10-20% cuts, more in some areas.
WE ARE BROKE.
Write this 1,000 times on the chalkboard, Cedillo.

The state's so cash-poor it doesn't have a pot to piss in, but they wanna hand out more taxpayer-funded goodies to lawbreakers just to perpetuate a voting bloc. In a just world, those racketeers would be recalled, if not tried and locked away.
"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

These “students” aren’t immigrants if they entered the U.S. illegally.

Thankfully the budget’s not 50 billion dollars out of whack, and we’ve plenty of cash to...
You know, it’d be nice, if for once, the liberals thought to introduce their pet programs by actually funding it themselves. Create a foundation, offer scholarships or grants as you please... I don’t even really care if they’re giving it to illegals or not. I think that’s their business, not mine, even though they are enabling illegal aliens. Heck, put in a law office and get them student visas..
But really, why is it always at the public dime?

Obviously, they believe Collie Fornia is too big to fail, and no matter how far into the tank they go, The One will bail them out.

California is already a lost cause. The faster it commits suicide, the better off all of us will be. In order to save CA, it must be destroyed first to show the folly of liberal policies.

California is in a state of rebellion. They hate Americans. They love Mexicans.
Just watch who they give in-state tuition rates to.
The next President should be prepared to mount an attack and recover the territory, if not the people, for the United states.

California is in a state of rebellion That it is. The people in government here are loyal to the Mexican people and government, not the Americans.
