Herman Cains scrappy campaign for the GOP presidential nomination is making an impression. From Public Policy Polling of North Carolina:
Mitt Romney has the lead in PPPs first Iowa poll since Mike Huckabee and Donald Trump exited the race, but with six different candidates polling in double digits its clear this thing is wide open.
Romney polls at 21%. Sarah Palin and Herman Cain are tied for second at 15%. Newt Gingrich is 4th with 12%, Michele Bachmann 5th with 11%, Tim Pawlenty 6th with 10%, Ron Paul 7th with 8%, and Jon Huntsman 8th with 0% (only one respondent to the poll picked him.) 8% said they supported someone else or were undecided.
Cain and Palin have been the biggest beneficiaries in Iowa of Huckabee and Trumps decisions not to run. Cain is at 15% now despite not even having been included on our last poll. Palins gained 7 points in the six weeks since our last poll compared to 5 point gains for Romney, Pawlenty, and Bachmann, a 3 point gain for Gingrich, and a 2 point bump for Paul.
We just cannot screw this one up.
If you can't appreciate the pure beauty of the violin after hearing this, something's wrong with your ears.Or you can get raw with these strings. Either way, the violin is sweet yet lethal.
Do it!
That's what I'm hoping for at the least. Get Romney out of our face!
You betcha! A real genuine leader! I’m so sick of wannabes. See my posts above.
Both your math, and your reading comprehension skills, need some SERIOUS work.
Appreciate your response but frankly Cain hasn’t got a hope in hell of winning the nomination. His response on right of return was utterly pathetic. Don’t waste your time and money. If she chooses not to run (unlikely) she won’t endorse Cain. Take it to the bank. Yea its just a gut feeling.
I found no fault with your observations.
I just think any poll that shows Romney in the lead is pure BS!
The Dems and RINOs are the only people who will vote for that phoney jerk.
If the Republican hierarchy were to force feed him on us, it will be the END of the Republican Party. There is no way under any circumstances that I will ever vote for that phoney.........
Allen West, oh hell yes. However, I think he can do us more good in the House of Representatives for the next two years. Somebody needs to give the Republicans some backbone in the house.
Allen West is a hell of man and and patriot.
You have a problem of looking up the entire poll results and reading them, I see.
Well, these Romney bots need to think long and hard about taking on Obama:

The only thing keeping Romney afloat is money. Herman needs an influx of cash and he needs to stay on message. He can overtake Romney and after Sarah said what she did yesterday about ethanol subsidies (right or wrong) I can’t see her doing better than 3rd in Iowa. Romney, Cain, Palin. If she don’t get in this thing, I think the road to the nomination is wide open for Cain. Especially if she declines to run and backs Herman.
I think Cain would seriously need a VP with foreign policy credibility.
See tagline.
I tried suggesting such a thing yesterday and got jump on for supporting smoky backroom deals and corruption. I think it’s just common sense unles we WANT a repeat of 2008.
But in that case, Ambassador Bolton is going to have to get in the race, win some delegates, and get a bargaining position. He better move fast, 2012 is almost here.
I do not necessarily believe that the VP choice has to be made from the field of also rans in the primary.
I agree with you, you agree with me, let’s get some more people...
This is ALL good news! I’m lovin’ it ...
