There is a completely different side of this story.

The prison system needs to keep a certain ratio of black/white inmates. The new inmates are mostly black which results in no whites getting parole. Whites spend most or all of their sentences.

You'll have to document that "genetic predisposition for violence" thing. Something often in the past alleged of Irish, Scot-Irish (Ulster) and even German people ("The Blonde Beast") --- but overall eludes genetic proof.

My money's on culture, the most important element of which is family tructure. At the time of the Harlem Renaissance ----an historic upsurge in African-American creativity in the arts, music, drama, literature, scholarship and civic leadership --- 90% of the black childred in Harlem lived in intact- married- mother'n'father households. Now the statistic is almost exactly reversed.

Believe me, family structure is the biggie. That, and active membership in a Christian church.

I once saw a stat on this site that took my breath away. If you took out black and hispanic crime verses only white crime compared to only the white population. There was virtually no crime in the country.

Yes, crime is mostly cultural. If you want to predict the crime rates of a particular group in America, look at the crime rates of the country that they or their ancestors came from. You will find that they are very close.

As an example, homicide rates are some of the most accurate statistics that we can track, so they bypass a lot of error producing problems with gathering and reporting statistics. The rate of homicides of Japanese Americans is slightly lower than the rate of Japanese in Japan, which is quite low indeed.

Cultural rather than genetic and the "black" culture of the present was constructed by the Left in America. Black crime stats were much lower relative to the present in the forties and fifties when blacks were making the move out of the still relatively impoverished south into the northern manufacturing cities. They brought their family values and Christianity with them and were working up through the system as all immigrant or quasi immigrant in this case, populations have done in the USofA until they hit the mud of the War on Poverty and the mud got thicker and thicker until it more resembles cured cement.

A lot of crimes are black-on-black. Young black males are the most likely to be a victim of murder. Black male unemployment is at a 40 year high.

Yes, African cultures are dysfunctional, and produce criminals (by Western standards).

And my reference to our standards vs theirs is simply an acknowledgement that some things we consider crimes are accepted in their cultures.
