What is the environmental impact of the judge holding court? and impact of the court building? And impact of the offices of all those lawyers?
We could go back 7 degrees of separation on this.
Bottom line, what is the environmental impact of civilization?

As you probably know, the Left is hoping for a society with a very small population (20 million?) that lives in caves and eats berries and dies at about age 35. The elitists, of course, will live up on the hill, in nice houses, eating good food, watching over the peasants in caves, making sure we don't get out of line.
This arrangement is what is best for the planet.

(The USSR spent itself into bankruptcy and collapsed -- and aren't we on the same path now?)
