I am back from breakfast and looked closer at your post, saveliberty. You started the Thread before 5 am. You still retain the discipline you had as one of the SnowFlake Threadmistresses. You are terrific.
I know if you were here, you would thank everyone who posts today. I may not be up to that, but I shall try and thank a few for you.

Good to hear from you. Hope the book is doing well. [I keep checking the NY Times for it!] 8)
Saveliberty is hard at work at her relatively new job and enjoying it very much. Her health too is much improved.

onyx, I saved my Tony e-mails as well. I cherish them very much even though they often pointed out the error of my ways!

If the good do die young, as seems to be the case, I should live a long time. [I am already 70!]
Tony’s commentaries were well done; always spot on and frequently humorous. Miss them...and him. We certainly could use them in today’s environment.

Well, that ping brought tears to my eyes....
I STILL miss that wonderful man!
The 8x10 picture he sent when he sent me some Smarties Candies
after I criticized his favorite candy. :)

Thank you so much for posting this link. I have seen it often but never tire of seeing it again. It shows that Tony was a truly gifted man.
As an aside, I think I recall that the flute was not Tony’s favorite instrument to play. I tried the flute in my younger days and never got beyond “Three Blind Mice.” What I would have given to play a musical instrument with such skill and joy.
