Update: This is the most defensive interview with a politician since “I did not sleep with that woman…Ms. Lewinsky!” And we all remember how that turned out. I posted a section of it earlier, but you really have to see the whole clip to appreciate the way Rep. Weiner avoids the questions. He’s positively robotic about it, even refusing to answer questions that he could simply answer with a “No.”

At first I would have thought that was a possible outcome, but after the info that's surfaced over the last few days and after this incredible interview, no sane, half-assed intelligent person can view this unsufferable prick as anything but a 100% guilty liar - no matter how ideological they may be.
He may keep his seat, but Weiner-boy himself buried the "right wing hacker/prank" meme by his own doing.
He's hoping to just ride it out by clamming up, and that could happen. But isn't posting/sending pornography a crime?
I guess someone would have to bring the charge against him...I don't know who would do that...the 21 year old isn't going to.

He had hopes of being an Oscar NY Mayor Weiner, but frankly ,after that CNN grilling, he’s done.
I couldn’t hear the interview because my sound was out on the computer. The question is, though, how many OTHERS will see it, hear it, and will it make any difference to them?
I’ve worked in NY state political campaigns and I can tell you, it makes NO difference to his constituency whether he did it or not, whether he’s lying about it or not.
Now, if lots of other stuff comes out, that’s a different story——the point about Weiner is that he’s been grooming himself to be a bigshot in NY politics, and this may provide a big roadblock if it festers and isn’t definitively dealt with, one way or another.

Drudge baffles me at times. I first saw the Maria Shriver/Arnold split on the Daily Mail website and on People.com at about 5:00 a.m. on the day the story broke. Drudge had NOTHING on his website and still had nothing a few hours later. I was shocked, considering it was a huge story. And I noticed it with other stories, too.
I can honestly say that I have NEVER been offended by anyone or anything.
If someone uses the term "white trash" for the worst-of-the-worst of whites, I am not offended because I KNOW that I am not in that category.
I guess the real reason I question your political beliefs is a combination of your chosen name on this site, "nolongerademocrat" (are you SURE?), the fact you haven't been here very long, AND the fact that you are so easily "offended" (TYPICAL of those from the left).
If I were Jewish, I'D be calling Jews like Schumer, Feinstein, Wasserman-Shultz, Wiener, and the rest of these un-American leftist scumbags who are trying to DESTROY our country the worst names I could come up with, HOPING that THEY would be "offended" in the worst way.
