That was a total amateur clusterf#ck of a tactical entry. They're lucky the dead marine did not intend them harm as he woulda shot them full of holes stacked all up in the doorway close together like bowling pins. They're lucky there was not another bad guy posted up unseen waiting for the first burst to stop before filling the doorway and some LE with holes. The LE invaders were very lucky these were not a real armed gang running a robbing crew with some seasoned"soldiers" and the professional, competent ring of lookouts, delivery guys, and "LE Liason" that accompanies latino crime operations.

Of course, Pina county prolly knew that. Very telling that these SWAT teams, armed and outfitted better than the average infantry company in the sandbox(For urban house clearing ops)do more raids on average folks than they do on the latino crime org's running the drug transport/distribution business nationwide. It's not like they ain't there. Here in Atlanta, the major transport hub of the SE, the last major takedown of the latino drug org was 2005. Meanwhile, here in Cobb county, 30 some odd LE's complete with tactical team were sent after my neighbor's 19 yo son over a probation violation. He was at his gf's mother's place, a wooded parcel around 100 acres with horse farm bordering a decent patch of woods with the entire back side cut off with a good size creek.

After busting down mom's door, A longtime RN, and finding nothing...dogs and 4 wheelers were called in. 3 hours were spent searching for this 19 yo and his gf, who were sound asleep in a brightly colored tent not 40 yards off the main trail on the edge of a open field that the searchers never bothered to check. How many thousands of bucks worth of men and toys? Over a non violent 19 yo on probation for petty theft, who BTW, is about to take his GED(I helped him).

This is not an isolated incident. The local tactical teams are used regularly for bs like this more than they are against armed drug gangs.

I'm about to post a vanity about a tragic, dumb, no knock raid that claimed 2 lives. One was the elderly home owner, the other was the first LE ever killed in the line of duty in my home county, Douglas county, just west of Cobb. A SD loaded top to bottom with professional, respected, and liked men. The leadership are all longtime LE from within the dept.

It pains me to post this. This isn't nothing like most bad raids. This isn't like Arizona where the dept is rotten from the top. These were not goon LE's on the team, nor would this team ever approach the level of incompetence shown by the Arizona team.

DCSD knows there was a bad call made that cost lives. Those involved with making it were devastated and will prolly carry this burden to their graves.

The reason I feel compelled to post this in a vanity for discussion is: I feel very strongly about this issue. Things need to change. This is a case where neither side has anything but the base issue to talk about. The "COP HATER" crowd cannot come in here with any of their BS because I openly stated from the get go how I feel about this dept. No one is calling for LE heads to roll here. No one from the other side can sling comments that might be deserving and ring true, but only serve to give the "COPHATER" crowd what they need to deflect

Nothing but the root cause of the issue is open for discussion. I earnestly hope SOME form of progress is made on this issue by me posting this and is my sole motive for posting. I will ping both sides when I'm done.

See y'all then.

Can you ping me when you post your article, I’ll read it and comment.

My husband was questioned by the Tucson PD detectives years ago. He was innocent of any of the charges but they were very unprofessional. He avoids police to this day. After all the crap that Dupnik said in January this really stinks.
