I would say the GOP is divided right now. That is not just a fiction put forth by the media. The "moderates" love big government as much as the Dems do, they just want to be the ones to decide how big government is utilized. And they are nearly as determined to keep conservative ideas from succeeding as are the Democrats, which makes you wonder if they should even be a part of the GOP at this point.

I would agree with that sentiment to an extent.

My problem is that we a ways away from the primaries, but we've already got people trying to circle the wagons around the RINO contenders and telling us that we should support them or at least not say bad things about them.

I think now is the time to be saying the things that need to be said about the RINO would-be contenders, and keep them from every becoming a contender. This is the time we need to be working against the moderates, because if they get a few wins in the primaries, the MSM and moderates within the GOP are going to latch onto them with everything they can and try to keep the true Conservatives from getting the nomination.

We caught the left and the moderate Republicans off guard in 2010, but they are fully prepared for us now.
