Guys and Gals,
Tonight my son and I went down to Gettysburg in hopes that Sarah, would eventually make her way there. We decided to try Cemetary Hill as a logical place for her visit. After a two hour drive we got there but alas there were no signs of her.
So we decided to play tourist ourselves.
After a bit, I got a tip she was at a local hotel. So we loaded up the car and zoomed over.
There the bus was....and there was Sarah and Piper!
Just 15 minutes then they left heading to "Cemetary hill". My Son overheard Sarah, tell a reporter they were going to the place where Lincoln gave his address. We decided not to follow as it was there time to experience just what we did, just like we did.
Much more I could share but I need a shower and a coffee enjoy the pics at the link and when I get time I will post them in the thread.
By the way...honest to God....Piper is a cutie and just as determined in real life!....lol

Piper, past right by me to climb into the Silverado, she was on a mission...but as they were pulling out the sun gave a backshadow that betrayed the tinted windows and she was smiling like all get out!
Looks like she is hitting all of the most famous landmarks in the USA.
Therefore, someone let me know when she gets to Spokane. I will run down and see her!

I thought Piper looked a little grumpy! She’s such a cutie and normally all smiles. I bet some of the thrill has worn off since she was such a ham out on the campaign trail in 08.
Plus I bet she isn’t loving having her vacation interrupted by the press!

Truly, my son and I are still beaming. The experience was surreal.
You could tell something very special was happening even though it was a small gathering.
Also, as soon as Sarah and Piper pulled away and left the parking lot, the masses filed in, not knowing what they just missed nor who. I do mean masses.
