Plenty of Sunday morning airtime was devoted yesterday to Sarah Palin. George Will says it's common knowledge she shouldn't be trusted with nuclear weapons.
Andrew Sullivan says he's afraid she will run because there's a possibility she could beat Obama.
David Brooks essentially thinks she's a joke.
"Yeah. But, you know, being president is waking up, somebody hands you the crisis and said, "There's a crisis in Venezuela. What are you going to do about it?" Does any, does anybody think Sarah Palin's ready for that? I don't think so. So she can manage her brand.
But running for president is not "American Idol." And I, I think people may agree with her, they may like her, but that doesn't mean they're going to vote for her. And so I--you know, the other thing is she's just not a team player. This is a team sport. Just take one little thing she did this week. She's taking her bus up to New Hampshire.
She doesn't call the Republican Party in New Hampshire, tell, tell them where she's going to appear, what she's going to do. So you got to play as part of the party, you got to play as part of the team.

Sarah Palin clearly has not decided whether the GOP is part of the solution or part of the problem.

Seeing that her campaign strategy thus far (I’m assuming she will run) would impress Sun Tzu, I don’t thing the country has anything to worry about should President Palin be faced with a crisis.
She also plainly knows how to delegate (as proved by her resignation as Governor of Alaska: she trusted her Lieutenant Governor would carry on the program without her being there to oversee it).
Sullivan’s concern she could win is based on the fact he seems to be the only person on the left who has actually looked at the real Sarah Palin, rather than the media-left echo-chamber’s caricature.
Not only would President Sarah be able to handle a crisis, she will have to deal with dozens of crisis, all of the present Marxist regime’s making - fomenting havoc in the middle east governments so that muslim brotherhood parties can rule, creating the crisis of putting Israel in jeopardy, energy crisis (little to no drilling, coal, etc), crisis in the dollar, crisis of the 1.6 trillion deficit, crisis of the 14+ trillion debt, and so on. With all the dozens of big crisis, hundreds of mini-crisis, and perhaps thousands of implanted metastasis crisis that will show up years down the road, the last thing we need is another 4 year zer0 regime to continue their wrecking ball destruction of Our society.
You are right- seriously Obama is THE American Idol President, that is what is so humerous about this.
Well, for one thing, I don’t think she’d take care of it by heading to Ireland for a beer.
Think of every time she has left Alaska since resigning,,,including the current tour. Can you imagine the screeching that Alaska was being left without a leader?
And they were filig a new lawsuit every few weeks,,which she had to pay for OUT OF POCKET, including a lawsuit to prevent her from having a legal defense fund. It was an untenable position finacially, and it worked against her being able to challenge the Obamunist.
And it caught them utterly off-guard.
Sarah is welcome to travel to any State without asking anybody, just like any other U.S. citizen.

We once had a president who had phone sex with an intern over an unsecured line, leaving this country wide open to blackmail. He went over a year without holding a full cabinet meeting due to his little distractions. I wonder if David thought that president could be trusted to handle a crisis.
