She can’t win the old way. But the old way needs to die.
She has chosen a new path. Much too soon to tell how it will work out.
But two things are obvious:
1) To save America, Obama must be defeated.
2) The standard issue GOP candidates will never beat him, and if Palin wins the GOP nomination, the losers will do anything, including endorse Obama, to keep her out.
Draw your own conclusions about what that means. I say she’s running, hard, right now - but not necessarily for the GOP nomination.
We’ll just have to wait and see. She’s totally off the reservation, and I love it.
I also believe she is running....but will be on the R ticket. I think she knows, as well as we do, a 3rd party would split our vote.
Just like the Tea Party did, she will take over the Republican party.
That's the way I am coming to see her - especially in light of this bus tour and the buzz of her every move now.
I heard some discussion (I think from Wallace) talking about whoever it was who gets credit for putting Palin's name out there (Weigel?) - whoever it was, says he doesn't think she will run.
The more I hear from the chattering class, of all persuasions, the less I care to hear any more. Give me FACTS.
These pundits forget, she earned her wings by going up against a corrupt bunch of Rove type republicans in Alaska. She has no reason to respect the GOP. All they have done is try to sabotage her, from the start right through the 2008 campaign. "Going Rogue"--you betcha.
