The New Hampshire Republican Party found out Sarah Palin would be coming to town by hearing about it in the news.
Where would she be stopping? They didn’t know. Palin’s staff wouldn’t even return their calls, leaving them to ask reporters for more answers.
And they’re not alone: With hours to go before Palin’s bus tour is supposed to begin, it’s still unclear what she’ll be doing when she gets to the first stop. It’s even more of a mystery what her second stop will be.
Or when.
Or why.
Once again, the former vice presidential nominee has proven she can tilt the political world on its axis in an instant. This past week, it was Tim Pawlenty, Mitt Romney and Michele Bachmann who took their campaigns to Iowa, but it was the news of Palin’s bus tour that really had people talking. A simple announcement on her website, and she got all the attention, all the interest.

its good strategy if the country isn’t so huge :) Its going to very hard work. To speed it up, she need to attend some group events where she can talk or influence many ppl at once. Maybe she’s simply targeting areas/counties where the election result were close
I expect that’s kind of the point. Sarah Palin enjoying the historical sites on the east coast during her younger children’s Easter Break without clearing it with the media. Their heads are spinning .

She has made a wise assessment of her strengths. The President just can’t do what she is doing because of being the President. She is using the advatage of NOT being President to offset the advantages he has because of being President. The customary approach has been to act as if one is already the President instead of changing up the game. The unexpected will tend to put the other side in the position of being responders and followers and unprepared.

And it will shove The One and his magical mystery tour of Europe right off the front page. The WH was planning on getting several points back in his approval rating with BO exploring his Irish roots and hobnobbing with the Queen and look all statesman-like.

and just heard on Fox that there are some worries as to why she is there, that she is using it as a political event. The oganizers had to make a statement saying that they aren’t republicans or democrats that she isn’t making a speech and that she is just riding to support hhe troops. One has to wonder, were they going to arrest her for being there?
Ok, it looks like I need a little education here. I thought RATS was a synonym for Democrat. But you seem to be using it for Republicans. So what does it satnd for?
Since the alinsky/union thugs will not know here scheduled stops, it eliminates them showing up in mass numbers and shouting over her message. the thugs will not have enough time to organize their protests at Palin's stops.
I love it. Politics as usaual is getting a wakeup call.
I never understood the caucases, the straw polls, why Iowa and New Hampshire were ‘the be all to end all’ over any other state leading up to elections and don’t like the political experts telling us this early in the season who is raising how much money, etc. I don’t think a billion dollar campaign (Obama target) is going to be what impresses voters this time. I don’t think money should be ‘the decider’ at all. I can tell you who I like so far and who I will not vote for.
I love what she is doing. I hope she stops here. :-)

Nothing strange about it. It prevents the Obama-ites from calling out their union thugs ahead of time. I suspect that when she hits a town, word-of-mouth will spread the news quickly.

That is the plan. Visit historical places and bring attention back to what America once was and the principles on which we were founded. A brilliant idea.
