Restore the Good in America
Our nation is at a critical turning point. As we look to the future, we are propelled by America's past. It's imperative that we connect with our founders, our patriots, our challenges and victories to clearly see our way forward. A good way to do this is to appreciate the significance of our nation's historic sites, patriotic events and diverse cultures, which we'll do in the coming weeks on our "One Nation" tour. We'll celebrate the good things that bring Americans together; those things that will give us the needed strength to meet the heady challenges ahead. Ive said many times that America doesnt need a "fundamental transformation," instead we need a restoration of all that is good and strong and free in America! So, together lets prepare ourselves for the days ahead by reminding ourselves who we are and what Americans stand for. We'll celebrate the meaning of our nation's blueprints, our Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, which are the threads that weave our past into the fabric necessary for the survival of American exceptionalism. Our founders declared "we were born the heirs of freedom," and despite our difficulties and disagreements, we remain one nation under God in freedom, indivisible. Through visits to historical sites and patriotic events, we'll share the importance of America's foundation. We encourage you to support the pro-America events we'll be privileged to participate in during these coming weeks. Discover the ties that bind Americans, our history, our traditions, and the exceptional nature of our country!

Thank God. I'm so sick of the Mittlands I could scream. My heart is in the high country with Sarah. The air is so much better up here. BTW, I want that phrase on a bumper sticker.
I sure slept good, and even had nice dreams during my sleep.
Uh huh. We had surprise thunder storms. Well a little water and noise never hurt anyone. :-P
Send any unneeded rain to Texas. We are in an exceptional drought again.

Definitely NOT cool nick...JimRob has already made his position very clear. You don’t get to veto it nor even vote on it. Start your own site if you want to make the rules!

You are an arrogant elitist, not to be trusted!

Have you read every word Jim has ever posted here? I have not and I have never read what he has said about commercial support of the site.
I know what it takes to run sites like this. I go back to putting on-line BBS’s back in the 1980’s via dial-up. What I do today with technology dwarfs this place.
It pains me to see how they struggle to keep FR up and running. My point is that if the folks that keep the wheels running around here want to make things easier for themselves that is A-OK with me. If you consider the value of a site like Huffington FR is certainly worth something. A lot financially and in countless other ways.
All I’m saying is that if the wonderful Robinson family want to realize a bit more of the American dream and want to do so here I’m all for it. Jim is a fantastic person surrounded by talented people like his son and they could do so much more with a little more $$$. If they don’t choose to do so that is up to them. This is their sand box.

No, I haven’t read every word that JimRob has ever posted and my memory isn’t perfect, but I do recall a recent post where he threatened to shut the site down rather than go commercial. Instead of trying to lecture me, try asking JimRob himself, or better still, start your own site what with all your vast experience!

I’ve been around here for 11 years and have not seen Jim post that. Thanks for the information. I was not lecturing you. Looks like you are a Navy man. I know a few Navy men. Had a Commander on my boat this past weekend. Any attempt to lecture him and I suspect you too would be fruitless. And likely dangerous:)
My point was that I would like to see the Robinsons not struggle so much if they so choose. They have done a great service for this country.
Best of luck....
