“Conversations about race” is such a farce.

It’s really a one-way discussion of how bad whitey is.

A real “conversation about race” would include

“why, with all the provisions in the law, the special set asides and privileges bestowed upon minorities, are they still resentful of whites? Why is the crime rate so way out of proportion?”

Indeed. It is always a monologue lecture that the white race is the devil and all other groups are oppressed saints.

standing in line at a city bureau, I said hello to a little African American child in line with an African American adult male who I assumed to be the child’s father. The child just looked back at me.

The father said, “He has to deal with Caucasions at school.” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As if that explained anything.

school is for knowledge, not this PC crap. De-fund the fed dept of ED now!.

If I were he, I would have insisted my child reply respectfully to the adult who had just spoken to him/her. Instead, that “father” was reinforcing hatred for whites in the child’s mind.

This is Minnesota. Theirs was the first state in the US to pass a civil rights law ~ to protect the Norwegians from the Swedes.

In hindsight, I would have used the word lecture in my description.

“Sit there, whitey, while I tell you how bad you are, and nothing should come out of your mouth except obsequious apologies.”

They cant force people to accept other races. You either do it or you dont.
No amount of teaching can make you not be a bigot.

I am proud of my white heritage, but I am not a goofball Kluxer or skinhead.
They can be proud of their race as well, just dont preach that white people are devils or that will just cause more division.
Or maybe that is what these people wanted all along.If people got along without worrying about race, they would be forced to get a real job instead of mooching off the taxpayers.
