At least, now the British know firsthand what we’ve been suffering through these past three years. Empty words and far left failed policies.

“. President Barack Obama is a brilliant speaker, but also a very polite man, “

Do I really need to look up the videos of Obama giving the middle finger?

It's kind of late and I would like to go to bed soon.

I would love to see a video of Obama’s speech before Parliament today. Can anyone here provide one?

“a series of orotund banalities” would describe every speech Obama has ever given.

The fact is that the alleged “high standards” of Barry’s oratory are the result of grading on a curve and that affirmative action yardstick applies to his rhetorical efforts as well as everything else he’s ever done (i.e. not much).

The polite British way of saying his speech sucked more than usual.

Barack Obama's speech failed to live up to his own high standards

Racists!

You reporters know the routine, you bigots!

"Oh, Gracious God, Thank You So Much! It’s such a blessing to be able to hear you . . .! Mr. President, thank you for taking time out of your day! Oh, gracious God, thank you so much!"

That's better.

Glenn Back just slammed him with his Top 10 Reasons his speech wasn't well received!

It rates a thread of its own!

The dead silence of the audience is what jumped out at me in the audio cuts I heard. Even the crickets were silent. And his lines were so full of banalities that I was actually embarrassed for him.

“President Barack Obama is a brilliant speaker”

Anyone who thinks that needs his ears cleaned out with an electric egg beater.

President Barack Obama is a brilliant speaker, but also a very polite man, and in Westminster Hall his oratorical inspiration was smothered by the cautious politeness of an American statesman.

Satire?

“The pictures were better than the words. President Barack Obama is a brilliant speaker, but also a very polite man, and in Westminster Hall his oratorical inspiration was smothered by the cautious politeness of an American statesman.

Perhaps Mr Obama was smothered also by his audience, which remained stubbornly unresponsive. “

Team-America-barfing-scene-sized barf.

How did he type this with BHO’s schlong in his mouth?

From the article: “We warm to Mr Obama, and feel an affinity with him, in part because he is a grandson of the British Empire.”

He is, indeed, which is exactly why he is not eligible to serve as POTUS.

Hey Brits, he’s an empty suit and he hates you. After you snubbed him by not inviting him to the Royal Wedding he wants all the perks of a State Visit to make his widdle fweelings all better.

He’s not a smart man, not an oratorical genius and he always simply mouths platitudes.

He only gets excited by thugs and terrorists like Chavez and Imanutjob.

That was one of the best “tongue in cheek” articles I have ever read. He literally kills Obama with seemingly kind but very insulting words...got to love British humor!!

Applause did break out when Mr Obama observed that “it’s possible for the sons and daughters of former colonies” to sit as Members of Parliament, and for “the grandson of a Kenyan who served as a cook in the British Army to stand before you as the President of the United States”.

Here was a personal connection rather than a platitude. We warm to Mr Obama, and feel an affinity with him, in part because he is a grandson of the British Empire.

And yet, Obama's Kenyan family is convinced his grandfather was abused by the British -- imprisoned and tortured.

I don't know if that's true, but grandfather Hussein Onyango Obama's conversion to Islam may be a sign that he didn't exactly have warm feelings toward Britain.
