The people who buy that argument are a small minority in the GOP. That’s one of the reasons her negatives are so high. She’s seen as a quitter. You can make as many excuses as you like but I’ll never feel comfortable giving her my vote unless she’s the only option versus obama. And there are a whole lot of folks who feel the same way. She probably has about 30-40% support among my Tea Party group. No one hates her or anything like that but she is not the choice among most conservatives that I know...even among some who think highly of her.

Thats one of the reasons her negatives are so high. Got any Rasmussen polling data on that specific issue?

given the money requirements, I don’t see her as the last person standing.
The only way for her to be the only one is if everyone else implodes and pulls out and romney stops spending his money.
kookpaul is going to stay until after the convention but his is statistically a nobody.
Romney has the money again but this time he does now have a huckster being paid to stay in or a fred thompson vote splitter.

It is too bad so many of the Tea Party people allow their perceptions of reality to be shaped by the enemedia. It is sort of like straight men allowing queer fashion designers tell them how to dress.
I consciously avoid designer labels and do most of my clothes shopping in military surplus or overstock stores like Gabriel Brothers.

Who would you and your Tea Party group like to see as our presidential nominee?
