Perhaps you got over-zealous in your tone, losing patience with Palin's supporters here on FR, and deathly afraid that we fail to see the desperate straits the US -- indeed, that Freedom will be in -- if Obama wins. Shades of Lord of the Rings and Denethor's fears for the Ring.
The problem is not that people won't vote for Palin; the problem is the Stockholm Syndrome towards the MSM which makes conservatives throw up their hands and acquiesce.
Remember that Palin in some polls is within 4% of Obama as far as the "hard dislikes" -- and that is after two or three years of nonstop lies about Palin and an equal amount of adulation and cover-ups for Obama. (Have you heard, anywhere but on FR, how Obama signed the register over in England with the date as "2008"? Talk about WTF!)
There's plenty of time for what the left used to call "consciousness-raising".

If you noticed when she went to the White House Correspondents' Dinner and *everyone* in the MSM wanted their photo with her? The press is a bunch of popularity *whores*. If she truly were anathema, they wouldn't have wanted the photos.

Oh--and one last. You're committing a logical fallacy in claiming that FR is an echo chamber and therefore shouldn't be relied upon, but that your (presumably much smaller) Tea Party group *is* "representative".
