Don’t know too much about Gov Pawlenty although I hear a lot of yipping about him being a so-called RINO; I keep an open mind, though, as any of these guys would be a major improvement over 0bama.

Need to spread it around. It’s worrisome that some many Freepers are at least OK with Pawlenty.

Basically he’s Mitt Romney on Sominex with a goofy face.

Try the link in the post just above yours at #4.

If you are a conservative, the information in that link should at least give you pause, if not ensure that Pawlenty is removed from your list of desireable candidates.

Yep. It's disturbing the trend on FR. Someone says one good thing and immediately there is an outcry for that person to run for president. Was on a thread about Cain the other nite and pointed out that he was a weak candidate etc etc. It was amazing how ugly it got. The next day, Cain was on with Chris Wallace FNS and well, it was a less than stellar performance and not just small but huge gaffes. Anyway, I store these files and hope others do as well.

Pawlenty was a good governor in a tough state, and would make a good President.

No, he's not perfect, but Ronald Reagan isn't walking through that door. Hell, Reagan wasn't even perfect.

I'm so excited, mr. "fire up the folks" is announcing that he likes dry wheat toast, bran flakes and 2% milk for breakfast, salad {no dressing, just lemon juice} for lunch and pasta {no meat} for dinner.

Oh yeah, he also wants your vote for him for the Presidency.

Not in the primary, but I'd vote for snoopp dogg over obama in the general election.

I’ll have search out clips as I missed Cain. Heard for years. Again there were things I didn’t agree with him on that I made clear on some posts. But I have that will the people who could run and are running.

If this source says someone is "pro-life" I immediately suspect they're not really pro-life.

And lo and behold, when I went and checked, he's not. He's pro-abortion with exceptions.

The U.S. Constitution imperatively demands the protection of every innocent life. No exceptions.

"No person shall be deprived of life without due process of law."

"No State shall deprive any person of life without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

Cain seems to be a fine man but he is not presidential material. The sunday Morning show thread may have a link to a youtube vid.

Much scrutiny needs to be done and not just listening to the ‘sound bites’.

Pawlenty is on Rush’s show right now and just empty platitudes. No specifics what so ever. i.e. the American people are dispirited and the American people feel like their country is slippiing away etc etc. We KNOW that. Get specific.

But he did state that he was ‘misquoted on “the era of small government is over”. He said David Brooks said that and it was mistakenly attributed to him.

He said he’s against Ethanol subsidies as well. So he is starting to get more specific now.

In anycase we must put in someone that is going to address the major issues AND the disasterous legislation that has been passed in the past 3 years.

“I keep an open mind, though, as any of these guys would be a major improvement over 0bama.”

Exactly!!!!

And I actually think Pawlenty is shaping up to be a good counter to Obama. With time, we’ll get even more conservative candidates when we have ALL worked to educate the American public on WHY conservative principles are in their best interest. It’s going to take a lot of hard work to turn this country back in the right direction.

“If this source says someone is “pro-life” I immediately suspect they’re not really pro-life.”

WHY do you suspect that? Facts?

“And lo and behold, when I went and checked, he’s not. He’s pro-abortion with exceptions.”

Please share your substantive proof.

Just heard him on Rush. He is sort of talking the talk; but will he walk the walk?

I want someone who will stand fight for America and it’s people; will do away with Obamacare, cap and trade, cut government; get rid of the crooks and thieves. I want someone decent and honest and is a real and true leader of the people; not just talk bs about how we the people have to sacrifice. In this day and time we should not have to sacrifice; especially because some elitist thinks we should while they are busy sitting on their butts using our money to make their lives better at our expense.

He did a pretty good interview on Rush. He seems to have put aside the “Uriah Heep” manner that turned me off in 2008 and sharpened his tone. He needs to keep on with the Paul Revere message.: To arms, to arms.

If this source says someone is "pro-life" I immediately suspect they're not really pro-life.

LifeNews always predicates articles with a "pro-life" or "pro-abortion" descriptor.

If you assume every LifeNews article about a "pro-life" polician is a lie, what do you assume about those described as "pro-abortion"?

And why do you harbor such extreme bias against LifeNews?
