The sign was originally in Spanish, French, Russian, Irish and German,
but Mr Simons said he put it up because of an issue with a group of Hispanic customers.
Now he claims to have even had visits from people speaking foreign languages
who come along with an interpreter.
One of the positive messages of support he has received said: A common language is a unifier - you did nothing wrong, Mr Simons.
I'm saddened by the fact that someone might want to see a negative than a positive.
It's just how you look at things, he said.
Mr Simons began working at the Reedy Creek Diner in November 2009 before buying it eight months later
but had a few problems with Spanish-speaking customers.
A brick was thrown through a window shortly after he put the sign up, which also said: God bless America
and all who those who protect and serve our great country.
Hispanic or Latino people make up 8 per cent of North Carolina's population,
and last years 111 per cent increase was the states biggest ethnic group rise in a decade.
Good for Reedy Creek Diner chef Greg Simons.
If you can't speak English, get the hell out!!!

Bingo.
That's why Joey Vento will always have my admiration.

Now if Conservatives will only BE Conservative and campaign/run as such ... we WILL take back the country.
Run for Congress and refuse to move from a "defund the NEA" plank (explaining how our kids are destroyed and made dumb by a planned, concerted effort) and you'll get voted in.
Pull an "abortion is murder" banner behind you ala Alan Keyes and do not waver, and you'll be voted in.
Too many Americans are afraid to be American, but many are awakening.
There's still hope.

If it were not for the ‘distance’ of the drive, I’m there everyday...it’s a bit out the way from North Texas.

It was put up after a group were offended because staff could not speak Spanish. Bears repeating. They were "offended"???

Language defines and molds cultures.
The left hates traditional American culture because it’s based on the Christian worldview and value system.
“Multiculturalism” is simply anti-Americanism.
The “language defines culture” concept was driven home to me when I studied some sign language with my kids. There is a whole deaf [sub]culture built on the American culture, defined by their different language.

As a proud American I am fluent in two languages, English and Redneck!

There’s some unintended humor here also.
“Sin servicio” can be translated as “no toilet”.

It’s not like this guy’s diner was a destination for non-English speaking folks other than Mexicans. And the area is full of legal migrants working the ag fields of Davidson County.
