2012 White House hopeful Jon Huntsman made a plea for civility for the second day in a row during his five day opening campaign swing through New Hampshire, home of the leadoff primary next year.
This time the former two-term Utah governor took aim at those in Washington negotiating over how to deal with the nation's $14 trillion federal debt in his commencement address to graduates of Southern New Hampshire University. Four years ago then-candidate Barack Obama did the same.

Every time I see New Hampshire and their first primary I get mad.
Why should this little piss-ant state full of liberal yankees and RINO Republicans be allowed to have such a strong voice in who our next President will be?
By the time the rest of us get a chance to pick a candidate the New Hampshire troops and the media have already made our selection.
Last time we had a Presidential election, by the time it got to my state it was a waste of time going to a Primary.
All primaries should be on the same day to give everyone a fair vote.
It shouldn't. Their open primary allows DEMOCRATS to register and vote as 'independents' in the GOP primary, and if Zero doesn't have a challenger; the floodgates of Dems into the Republican primary will rule the day. ALL primaries should be CLOSED. Is anyone listening?
Instant loser. A call for civility is the sheep agreeing not to bite back at the wolves.
Let Herman Cain teach him a lesson in ‘civility.’ If this guy can’t take the heat from his own party, he needs to go.
LLS
The media, RINOS, and old establishment Republicans--but I repeat myself. RINOS=old establishment Republicans.
He would be Obama--maybe lite, but Obama.
vaudine
The GOP candidates have to be able to discuss the realities of the dangers of a second Obama term. That means using words such as, Marxist, socialist, liar, anti-semite, anglophobe.
They will be going into a gun fight, so they had better not bring butter-knives.
Snowballs in hell.
Civility to a Demonrat or RINO (no difference really)....is for the Conservatives NOT to take it to ‘em on their records. In other words, stand there like a deer in the headlights and let them run all over Conservative ideas and solutions. :(
The time for civility is long over. Now its time to kick azz and take names.
How can you have “civility” when one Party wants to put a moat on the border with alligators?
Lightweight. Join Newt on the scrap heap.
DOA.
Is anyone actually supporting this guy? If they are, why, in the name of all that is holy, are they doing so?
Hey John, take a tip from fellow RINO Mitch. Hit yourself in the head and drop out.
I’m encouraged by the number of RINOS staying out of the race or self-destructing. We’re coming for you next Pawlenty, you Global Warming-mo
I think Obama is "running this guy" as a stalking horse and as someone to pull votes away from a true conservative candidate. Look for him to "accept" another cushy job in the next Obama administration...paid in full...if we don't stop Obama.
Yes it looks like its going to be Mitt, TPaw, Santorum, Paul, Cain and Bachmann with Newt and Huntsman trailing. Of course the GOP elites are going to want to make us pick between Mitt and TPaw. Personally this time I’m not going for it. Its Cain or Bachmann for me. No compromises.
I just listened to Chris Wallace on Fox and the panel could only talk about Romney, Pawlenty, Gingrich, Daniels,....all the weak kneed insider Washington pukes. No mention of Palin, Cain...oh they did mention Christy. This nomination process is a joke when little states like Iowa and New Hampshire have such an impact which I don’t think is going to happen this time. America is fed up with politicians who sniff each others rear ends like dogs in a pen. This time I predict that the pretty boys of the Republican party are in for a surprise....as Popeye said: “I’s had enough and cants stands no more”!
