Probably the most intelligent suggestion I’ve read all day. Cain has a lot to offer in this election, but with his cancers (survived liver and colon cancers, I believe), his lack of political victories (0-1 in a 2006 GOP Senate primary), and his hard-line position on abortion (none even in rape and incest), he’s not going to motivate the independents. However, he’s an almost ideal VP pick.

Yes, Cain would make a good VP pick.

His liver cancer was a Stage IV colon cancer metastasis. That's a very serious thing. But he has survived 5 years, while about 95% of those who have Stage IV colon cancer, don't. He would certainly have to hold a press conference with his doctor on the subject. Perhaps he has already done that and I haven't seen it.

Cancer is no big deal once you learn the realities.

Reagan had very successful “alternative” cancer therapy in Germany during his time in office, and so can any other president. Its the butcher shop approach that makes cancer deadly.
