Cain has a lot to offer in this election, but with his cancers (survived liver and colon cancers, I believe), his lack of political victories (0-1 in a 2006 GOP Senate primary), and his hard-line position on abortion (none even in rape and incest), he’s not going to motivate the independents. However, he’s an almost ideal VP pick.

Yes, Cain would make a good VP pick.

His liver cancer was a Stage IV colon cancer metastasis. That's a very serious thing. But he has survived 5 years, while about 95% of those who have Stage IV colon cancer, don't. He would certainly have to hold a press conference with his doctor on the subject. Perhaps he has already done that and I haven't seen it.
