WEST POINT, N.Y. (AP) - First lady Michelle Obama urged more than 1,000 cadets Friday night on the brink of graduating to keep in mind the families of the soldiers they will lead. Obama addressed the white-clad cadets and their families gathered in the U.S. Military Academy's castle-like mess hall for a graduation-eve banquet. It marked her first visit to the storied academy and dovetails with her recent work on behalf of military families.
She noted that more than half of service members are married and 40 percent have two or more kids.

Your irony is not lost on me..:=)
What a shame these proud cadets get assaulted by an overweight communist American hating socialist upon their graduation.
ROFLMAO!
Boy, like THAT would ever happen...
My oldest son graduates from West Point tomorrow so my wife and I were at her speech. He was pulled aside by one of her mincing aides. He was asked who his parents voted for in the last election and told them he didn’t know. He had to be politically correct in his responses, I don’t.
The speech was fluffy and not inspiring. She said nice things about the cadets and their parents laced with references to West Point history. All I thought of her words about the first time she was proud of our country.
I got the chance to meet many other cadets and their parents. They are the types that make America great. Michelle should not have intruded on their celebration. Some walked out when she started to speak and many did not applaud. The cadets had to be polite.
Tomorrow will be better if the rain stays away like it did for their parade.
exactly
Cadets AND families.
Also known as, "If the Army wants you to have a wife, they'll issue one to you."
THANKS for the report. And thank your son for us...for America! How interesting that they asked who his PARENTS voted for....did they ask who HE voted for?
At least he can see they,re un-disciplined in their banality. Something to file away for later use. Thanks to your son and thanks to you for making him worthy.
Congratulations, you must be incredibly proud. I am sorry Michelle intruded on your weekend.
The nerve of this woman, who has NEVER worn the uniform or served her country, lecturing these hard-working, brave young cadets, who ARE wearing the uniform and serving their country, is just plain sickening. Her “support” for the military consists of her doing photo-ops to get her America-hating husband re-elected.
(Get crazy with the cheese whiz!)
LOL
Your tagline made me remember how at the age of four or five, I covered my teddy bear from head to toe with cheeze whiz using a butter knife.
Unfortunately I am sure that the red carpet & gushing & fawning treatment for phatass mabelle michelle was all the latest rage. Our military cadets & our top military leaders are 70% socialist liberal retards, schooled & indoctrinated with anti-Christian, anti-American, pro-homosexual, pro-muslim propoganda. Diversity training & multi-culturalism & globalism & the New World Order are now standard training indoctrination for aspiring young officers, just like in any fortune 500 business in America today. You can mock whites & Christianity & the TEA Party, but say a word against any minority or expecially a homo or a muslim and you are toast on the spot. The military academies & aspiring young officers are in the same identical boat. From the last generation, General George Patton would have never made it out of today’s military academy before being dismissed for having the wrong “geopoliitical, globalist, homophobic, non-conforming” mindset.
Wow...I gotta say...that is one of the weirdest things I have ever heard in my life.
You most definitely ROCK!
Boy, I bet she was a real inspiration /sarc/
Just when you think it can’t get any worse...
a clear slap in the face of the military
