Hamas Responds to Obama’s Anti-Israel Speech: We Will Not Recognize Israel Under Any Circumstances

Hamas released a statement following the far left president’s naive speech. The terror group will not recognize Israel under any circumstance. YNet News reported:

Obama’s Mideast policy speech Thursday was a “total failure,” Hamas said Thursday evening.

“The (Arab) nation does not need a lesson on democracy from Obama,” said Hamas spokesman in the Gaza Strip, Sami Abu-Zuhri. “Rather, Obama is the one who needs the lesson given his absolute endorsement of Israel’s crimes and his refusal to condemn Israel’s occupation.”

“We will not recognize the Israeli occupation under any circumstances,” the Hamas spokesman said, while adding: “We object to intervention in our internal affairs.”

It reads like a hyperbolic Onion piece. Wow; these people are not merely terrorists—they’re lunatic terrorists.

And the liberals told us that America was not respected in the world, and that this would change with Obama. And Obama himself has made outreach to the Arab/Muslim world a priority.

And what results did Obama expect? Did Obama expect that Hamas, Hezbollah, etc. would praise his call for Israel to retreat to the pre-1967 borders? Instead these organizations are “dissing” our president, by renewing calls for Israel to be destroyed.

Does Obama really think that the Arab/Muslim world will respond to American liberal ideology, and praise how reasonable the president is, etc. ?????

Well OK then....

Remember why the borders changed so much in June of 1967. Here is a refresher, Nasser backed Israel into a corner with the blockade of Straits of Tiran. The UN failed to live up to their mandates and allowed Egypt and Syria to move up to Israel's borders in preparation for an attack. The US refused to take a stand giving a green light to the Soviet backed Arab countries. Rather than wait for the inevitable attack Israel hit first and hit hard.

In 1973 Israel waited to be attacked and was nearly overrun. They survived only due to the incredible bravery and sacrifice on the men on the Golan and Sinai who bought time with their lives for the rest of Israel's army to mobilize. Today The Sinai is already in enemy hands, and Obama wants to put enemy units in the Golan. There will be no possible defense for Israel. They will either have to strike first (as they did in 1967) or be destroyed.

They are trying to claim an area that was never theirs. Ever. Hadrian named it “Palistina” to punish the Jews for an uprising. It was known as Judah and Israel before that. Hadrians point was to wipe out the Jews and their history. The name “Palistina” was an insult and was the name for “Philistines”, Israels deadly enemy. It was never muslim and was a wasteland until it became Israel again.

According to this, Hamas told “HIM” to go to hell before Bibi did. Is there anyone out there that is surprised?
I think two things have will have happened:
1. The status quo will not change, except for the worst.
2. Obama will claim that he did indeed have a plan, but the two parties wouldn’t accept his “wisdom”.
