Sarah Palin: I do have the fire in my belly to run in 2012 (Video - On The Record Tonight w/Greta)
Right Scoop ^ | Thursday May 19, 2011

Posted on 05/19/2011 8:16:58 PM PDT by Bigtigermike

She says that she definitely has the fire in her belly to fight to put America back on the right track:

"I think my problem is that I do have that fire in my belly. I am so adamantly supportive of the good traditional things about America and our free enterprise system and I want to make sure that America is put back on the right track and we only do that by defeating Obama in 2012. I have that fire in my belly."

Right before this Sarah also took another slam at Newt Gingrich, and a good one too:

You know what I thought after the whole Newt Gingrich thing in these last 24 hours, Greta, was ‘bless his heart and every other Good Ol’ boy’s heart that’s in that political game there in the beltway. They don’t really know any more than the rest of us.’

Greta, it was Newt Gingrich who told me in January of this year “Sarah Palin needs to slow down and really think through what it is she has to say.” Well you know, he stumbles too. We all stumble. We all have our strengths and our weaknesses."

The entire interview is great. Enjoy!

I think we just found out what Bill Klinton’s FR handle is!

He’s telling us that his latest flame is ‘Rita’ and she’s ‘OK.’

[ To say there’s not enough time left for the country (as others have said) is putting more hope (and trust) in Sarah than in God. ]

Bachmann / Paul is the only choice.. they wouldn’t assassinate her and all the Paul crazies would sign on..

Perry is a dreamer.

No conservative is going to vote for Him, and Newt and Romney have the RINO vote tied up.

[ So, you expect Obama to be reelected? Otherwise 2020 would be her next realistic opportunity to run. ]

No.. Bachmann / Paul is the best bet.. they would’nt assinate her and will bring in all the Paul droolers and the smarty pant’ers too..

Shrillery would be just about as bad as Obama if she had won and been given the reigns with the Demonrat Congress just like her husband was doing. The greatest mistake the GOP made was not allowing Clintoon to be himself giving the illusion of moderate. The Demonrat party has left no such illusion with their run of things with Obama. Palin is as close to cracking the media/Demonrat machine conservatives have ever had and she realizes the media will have to equally be taken on. They’ve certainly provided the evidence for her to hand THEIR head to them. There was an illusion that Palin imploded when questioned on actual specificity to what Palin did to damage it was not answering what newspapers she read! What a joke and she’s going to overcome these stereotypes because she won’t be held back by McCain and his campaign. You really are suspect with your admiration of Shrillery. Obamacare can be tied to that witch. She was and never will be the real deal.

” I think we just found out what Bill Klinton’s FR handle is! He’s telling us that his latest flame is ‘Rita’ and she’s ‘OK.’ “ = = = = = = =

The Hillary standard that I proposed has nothing to do with Hillary the person, and her progressive/socialist/marxist intentions, but if that rabbit trail you’re on calms your fears, by all means, don’t let me divert you to reality, of a standard set by which all future female contenders are going to be measured. Hillary had to be stoned first and then drug out of that campaign kicking and screaming, but she avoided coming at her nothinggggggggg you can name. Least of all the Obama siding media, nor the Republican push back, not even Electoral Voters in the democrat Congress.

I live happily in a VERY conservative community full of other Tea Party supporters. I must say they largely snort or hang their head that Sarah has let media so intimidate her that she has apparently locked herself in the choir room of all places and won’t come out, but wants to be president. “Buck up”, is the phrase around which there is consensus. Depth and substance on policy issues is starting to matter far more than the endless cloudy considerations and no commitment to a minimum requirement of knowledge and specifics around which a winning campaign should be built. Just sayin’, but said it on an obviously closed thread for only the closed minded. My “see ya” moment.

Yeah, that “political savvy” got her real far didn’t it? Though in my opinion “wife of president who takes very large entourages to exotic locations on public’s dime” doesn’t qualify as experience. She was beat by a guy who had all the foreign policy experience of a third grader. Who gives a flying rats butt what the “press” expects? They screwed the pooch with 0bama, that’s why they were irrelevant in the midterms. With a strong candidate who is unafraid and willing to go around them, who doesn’t care what the LIBERAL press thinks 0bama is easily beaten. It’s his policies (foreign and domestic) that will be his undoing.

Taxes? How about we start with Our Constitution, and the socialist healthcare, and the lack of jobs. You think that can wait until 2016 under this anti Amercian administration?

We just had an election this past November with things pretty bad and guess what the libs still held the Senate. And its not just the joke card going to be played that will hurt Palin, it will be the lack of women support. She will need that support in order to win. I find her to be the biggest gift to our gender but many, unfortunately feel threatened or jealous. We are going to need a candidate that will have a definite win, not an if chance. Our Country is in far to much danger of collapse to gamble her away. Again Cain will be the Ace we need.

Oh, well, the fact that you SAY you live in a Tea Party community (I happen to live in a regular community with all different kinds of people) just seals it...you’re an expert on how to judge foreign policy experience and who can win. But only women, evidently as it’s obvious given the results in the last presidential election MEN don’t have to reach that high bar. And you STILL have given NO specifics from Hillary’s campaigning that illustrate her incredible grasp. You cannot rely on things that went on in her HUSBAND’S administration because while the running joke was that she ran the country while he diddled, we simply don’t know how true that was.

OK, I had some time and went through your posting history . . .

I retract and apologize for the “concern troll” comment.

You think Palin isn’t electable. I think that’s a “global warming” kind of theory—Not Proven.

What do you say we find out? That’s what primaries are for.

You like Cain. I could live with Cain. I like Cain, too.

Fair enough?

"I think if Sarah gets the nod they’re going to put an establishment candidate up as the Veep to calm down the beltway elites. I hope I’m wrong about that one, but that’s just the way I feel."

I think you're precisely right.

I guess you must be sharing your hallucinogens with them, then. Do you bake it into brownies to pass out at their meetings?? Palin..."locked herself in the choir room"....LOL...what other candidate has taken Obama to task like she has.??? NONE.

"“Buck up”, is the phrase around which there is consensus. Depth and substance on policy issues is starting to matter far more than the endless cloudy considerations and no commitment to a minimum requirement of knowledge and specifics around which a winning campaign should be built."

And HILLARY has that??? DREAM ON, lady. I haven't seen any signs that our current foreign policy has been a scintillating success. Misguided, hodge-podge, undecided, and just plain STUPID would be a more correct analysis.

"Just sayin’, but said it on an obviously closed thread for only the closed minded. My “see ya” moment."

That's OK. I see "Huck" is back, so it's safe for you to leave, and the Palin-bashing will continue without abatement (or clues).

Does that mean that Sarah & the rest of us have no say in the matter? If they don't get their way - they are going to vote for Obama?? Are RINOs really that lowdown & ugly?

The Hillary standard that you ‘proposed’ has nothing to do with anything at all but the fog that inhabits the space between your temples.

Hillary has never been anything but a stumbling bumbler, just like her master, Obama.

Palin, on the other hand, has been the lone voice calling Obama out on all the issues with wisdom and clarity.

Its your privilidge to keep on buying the MSM’s vacuous drivel, but to do so illustrates the great divide between you and any form of conservatism.

Oh I see - while you wanted Sarah to wait, you don't want others to wait. How cute - sooner or later the real intent comes forth.

Go SARAH!! Go Bibi/ISRAEL!!
