It is a shame as intellectually he is among the best. The man’s great flaw is his character and more specifically his lack of self governance. He should drop out of the race.

The National Association of Dipterid Insects takes exception to your implication that we would be associated, even indirectly, with the Gingrich campaign.

" probably No Palins" Palin has never campaigned for national office....McShame's campaign(?) operatives shut her campaigning off very quickly in 2008.
In 2010, she campaigned very well for others. In 2012 she will campaign for America, whether she declares or not. I do believe that she will, but not until late this year....Say October????

Newt will have to break it to Callista that it doesn’t look like she’ll be First Lady after all. And the Tiffany’s bling is going to have to go back.

You know, I think I’m going to have to call his campaign and give them this tip. I might have to read off post to keep from laughing.

Newt seems like a car with an gas pedal that only operates at 0% or 100%. If you are lucky enough to point it in the right direction and hit the gas you'll get there very, very fast and run over anything in the way. But if you start in the wrong direction you'll be swerving all over the place and likely crash.

Reforming Medicare is so hard and courageous that all conservatives have to back Ryan 100% to get it done. Whatever minor quibbles a candidate has, he needs to shut up about it until the actual work gets done. This is the message that must be sent to potential candidates.

I’m surprised that even five out of eighteen stuck with him.

good. he deserves to have people dump him.

Its hard for me to believe that the Pelosi couch debacle didnt turn off all conservatives to Newt forever. That they were going to throw him a fundraiser in the first place is just plain weird.Newt now takes his marching orders from his liberal wife Calista, who is very similar in politics (and looks) to Cindy McCain. I think this explains why Newt went over to the dark side.
I think some conservatives still believe in the old Newt, before his conversion to his liberal wife. Hopefully they know better now.

I know most people thought the “Tiffany” question was out of bounds, but I didn’t. Everything needs to be on the table. If he was worth 100 million it might be different than having assets of 1-2 million (which is what the report indicated). 1-2 million in assets and a 250-500,000 Tiffany bill? It suggests reckless spending in his personal life which reflects poor judgment.

I thought that Herman Cain and Gary Johnson were the clear winners from the SC debate.Gary Johnson? Did he win while defending abortion and drug use, or was it when he whined about not getting enough camera time?
