Out of all the candidates SO FAR the one the liberals fear the most is Gingrich.

I DO NOT WANT HIM to run but you have to admit the man is brilliant, and an excellent debater.

They do not even want him in the debates on OUR SIDE, that’s how good he is.

YES he has said some stupid things- but 99% of what he says makes way too much sense for liberals to let the sheeple hear it.

THAT IS WHY THEY ARE TRYING TO SHUT HIM UP NOW.

And too many of us (even Freepers) are falling for the liberal media slime tactics, or at least not seeing them for what they are.

He's a MASTER debator.

Which leaves unanswered the question of why he needed three wives.

He must be a serial Mormon.

Cheers!

It was brilliant to go after Ryan? If that's his example of how to run a brilliant campaign then no thanks.

Newt IS the one of the most (if not the most) intelligent politician out there (on either side).

That said... intellect is NOT enough for the office of the President AND has nothing to do with ‘fitness’ for the job. There are tons of people who are WAY more intelligent than most Presidents.

Newt is living, breathing proof that intellect (if it matters at all) is a small part of the equation.

No... I do not because he is not. Rush had the guy running in circles... he could not come up with enough lies live to cover his sorry arse and he sounded like clinton testifying. gregory handled him like a pro... and newt was too frickin' stupid to realize it. The man is a media creation... he is not Conservative... he is not smart and he is not an excellent debater... Rush took him out and Rush was being friendly. newt is an example of what is diseased in American politics today.

liberal media slime tactics

The words rightwing social engineering came directly from Newt's mouth, no slime necessary. I can't recall which Freeper used this line in a post, but i thought it described Newt's situation perfectly-- "you can't undo seppuku".

It’s not a slime tactic to quote what the Newt said about a fellow republican. How brilliant does someone have to be to call defunding the socialist health care monstrosity “right wing activism”. For that matter is right wing activism really that bad, and is it really something that a republican candidate for president really needs to focus on? Our country has been pulled, kicking and screaming, leftward for at least the last 100 years by left-wing activists that lied about their motives and their allegiance. Now we have people trying to combat it and this “brilliant, excellent debater” calls them to task? Who’s side is he on? Yes I would be happy for him to shut up.

No, I don't. If he's so smart why does he think he has a chance to be the president when most of his own party can't stand him personally, and the opposing party can't stand him in general? That's not brilliant. That's deeply delusional, if not downright stupid.
