Jewish donors and fund-raisers are warning the Obama reelection campaign that the president is at risk of losing financial support because of concerns about his handling of Israel.
Some Jewish donors say President Barack Obama has pushed Israeli leaders too hard to halt construction of housing settlements in disputed territory, a longstanding element of U.S. policy. Some also worry that Mr. Obama is putting more pressure on the Israelis than the Palestinians to enter peace negotiations, and that the president has allowed relations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to fray.

I believe it is because they focused on the National part of National Socialism, rather than the Socialism part.
It isn’t so much that they are leftists as is its that they are anti-right/strong central government.

Meh, American Jews are a pretty hopeless voting block. Chasing this group is a waste of time. Obama could throw Israel entirely under the bus and he’d still get a majority of US Jewish backing so long as he continued pursuing secular leftist policies here at home.
I guess it is always worth reaching out to everyone, but making a big effort to win the Jewish vote is a fools errand. This voting block is almost as hopeless as the blacks.
Going back to 1916, they vote for Democrats, Socialists and Progressives by large majorities, up to 90% in several elections. Reagan was the last to make a real dent when he pulled 39% in 1980. Those gains were lost by Bush 41 in '92.
Well, many of the demographic are wild-eyed, baby-killing, Socialist, "secular-Jews".
Obama is trying to push Israel back to the 1967 borders and give back the Golan Heights. This would be the death of Israel as Obama knows very well. The Palestinians has a home country, it is Jordan, which was previously called Palestine. However, Jordan does not want the trouble makers including Hamas. Don’t blame Jordan for sure. The ultimate goal of the Palestinians and Hamas is the total destruction of Israel. God will protect Israel, and people should remember that fact. Everytime Israel is squeezed or harmed in some way, the US suffers some time of catastrophe. Something to think about.

Well, DUH. Better late than ever (but not much) if these silly donors are seeing the light. For the vast numbers of American Jews to have voted for this dangerous usurper in the first place is like chickens voting for Colonel Sanders.
