If there was ever a better symbol of what a fiscal mess we are in, I dont know what it is. The Washington Times has this must read story today about Stanley Thornton. If you read nothing else today, read this. Thornton spends his days pretending he is a 350 pound adult baby. He sleeps in a crib, drinks from a bottle and wears (and presumably uses) diapers. His female roommate acts as his nurse giving him bottles and cleans him up. You are paying for them both through Social Security disability.
Stanley Thornton Jr. and his roommate, Sandra Dias, who acts as his mother . . . are collecting Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits instead of working.
Senator Tom Coburn is not amused. Coburn has asked the Social Security Administration to investigate how people who live their lives role-playing as adult babies are able to get taxpayer-funded disability payments after one of them was featured on a recent reality TV episode wearing diapers, feeding from a bottle and using an adult-sized crib he built.
The story gets even weirder. After being contacted by the Washington Times about his life as a diaper-wearing freeloader, Thornton threw a tantrum:
You wanna test how damn serious I am about leaving this world, screw with my check that pays for this apartment and food. Try it. See how serious I am. I dont care, the California man said. I have no problem killing myself. Take away the last thing keeping me here, and see what happens. Next time you see me on the news, it will be me in a body bag.
I’ll never notice if he offs himself.
Loser
Why doesn’t he get a job in porn? Seriously. The weirder the fetish, the bigger the paycheck for the performers. At least he’d be doing something.....
Yep, call this a$$#0le’s bluff.
If he doesn’t kill himself, force him to pay back his fraudulant gains.
Sounds like the perfect Dem.
I just realized that I am not long for this world.
I have him down as an Al Franken supporter.

For those people who are truly ill and have a hard time doing the daily tasks of living, I have no problem them being on federal aid, however those who choose not to work I do have a major issue with.
He needs some itching powder in his diapers. Then he’ll change himself.
If I was the Lord I would incenerate this planet ... He must have incredible patients ...
“Next time you see me on the news, it will be me in a body bag”
Is there a downside to this?
I knew someone on SSI and they said basically the same thing. “If you don’t give me money, I’ll kill myself”.
Dear God, no pictures.
Ackkkkk.....This is too early to see this.!
Just think ... we work, but in the big picture; we have been enslaved by the degenerates. Our work that generates our income, is forcibly taken from us; and given to various degenerate parasites that demand more and more from us.
They vote, and their vote counts as much as ours; but because so few of the workers actually “man up” to cast a vote, and the parasites vote in huge numbers - it will only get worse.
If I had my way, I’d cut the check on every able-bodied person who ‘could work’, but choses not to. I have no problem paying for unemployment, providing that the individual receiving the check is actively looking for work. But this bum, has no intention of working; and he and his ‘girlfriend’ are living their fantasy - financed by money that I could have spent paying off my debts, saving for an emergency, or buying myself something nice.
SSI is broken all around. It’s well known that the first SSI request will always been denied. Then the lawyers get involved with their specialty doctors and THIS is what we get.
I don’t think the Al picture is real is it. Although it is very fitting for that loser.
