How many light bulbs do you buy in a year, what types? It is surprisingly few for most of us. So figure it out, then multiply that by your life expectancy ... then buy the bulbs and put them in the attic ... that’s what I did. “In my lifetime” ... there will be no light bulb ban ... and I’ll always have a choice ... go to the store or go to the attic.
We don’t use a lot of bulbs, and I don’t mind using 50- or 75-watt for most purposes. There are just a couple of lamps where I want 100-watt, so I can see for embroidery.
