Amid questions about the authenticity of Obama's posted birth records raised by the registration number, a researcher has discovered a possible explanation.
The Post and Email blog, which has focused on the Obama eligibility controversy, features a report by an unnamed researcher who discovered the record of a girl born the same day as the president who died a day later that could have been the source of Obama's birth certificate.
The find is significant because of questions about the plausibility of the registration number indicated on the images of short-form and long-form birth certificates for the president posted on the Internet.

I haven’t seen this addressed, but there’s a sloppy mess in the M.D. checkbox next to the signature, overlapping the “other” checkbox where the mother signed ... as if someone was trying to cover up that “other” was checked next to the signature, rather than “Parent.” Perhaps Granny originally signed the form, but her signature was removed, the (Stanley) Ann signature was inserted and the Parent box was then checked, but they had to smudge the other box by creating a mess in the M.D. box.

They didn't even tell this woman they were researching possible fraud involving the President. All they said was that they were "researching infant deaths in 1961."
There’s also a little problem with Stanley Ann’s signature. It appears she added the parenthetical (Stanley) after she signed her name as “Ann Dunham Obama” ... except that she signed Ann small enough to leave room to insert (Stanley) in the space between Ann and the Field label “Signature of Parent or Other Informant.” She didn’t sign Dunham or Obama that small. Why would she sign “Ann” that small?? If the (Stanley) was an afterthought, she wouldn’t sign her first name tiny and the last names bigger. As has been pointed out, most other documents she just signed as Stanley Ann, without any parentheses. If this was a real afterthought, there shouldn’t that much room to write in (Stanley) without writing on top of the other words or her signature. This looks like it created to look like the (Stanley) was added, in order to make it appear more genuine.
While there are far too many coincidences, I don’t think he was much for the get off the couch and to protest. He loves to tell wild and glorious tales of his past but it’s 99% bunk. His talking big may have gotten him in with Ayers, but Ayers was a doer whereas the usurper is a sloucher.
I guess that would depend on whether he was doing coke or pot at the time...

No, my problem with this is that there's not one shred of evidence to support this latest conspiracy theory, just insane assumptions. Certainly not reason enough to bother a woman about her dead baby and ask for her birth certificate.
My comment was directed at someone who said she would want to be informed if her baby's death was being exploited. As I said, that isn't what they said they were investigating. Probably because they had nothing to back it up and didn't want the door slammed in their face, which is what these lowlifes deserved.

So the logical question is, of what ? What is the big secret, the “mystery” ?
And so some very smart people here, are trying to figure that out, logically, and by making necessary assumptions.
The fake BC, which already has a time/sequence problem, coupled with the incredible effort Butterdezillion has made with Hawaii officials, supports the hypothesis, that 41 belonged to someone else originally. Sunahara is the logical choice. as Butterdezillion said:
“The most damaging piece of evidence regarding the possibility that Sunahara’s BC# was stolen wasn’t included in the WND piece: even though her name is in their 1960-64 birth index, the HDOH has claimed they don’t have a birth record for Sunahara.”
and you call all that “not a shred of evidence”, and “insane assumptions”? ...bet you said that about Watergate also at first, right?

This isn't a new theory. Obama's cert. no. has been known to be problematic since the day factlack dot org released its photos. The state of Hawaii's refusal to authenticate that number and their explanation of the process has indicated all along that the number likely belongs to somebody else, not him.

I have aquestion that I have been wondering about and perhaps you can help. I think on your blog you have said that you have the Polk directory for 1961. Could you check out the address for the registrar Lee so that we could get an accurate name for this person and also could you check out the address of the little baby’s family in 1961 so we could see it’s proximity to the hospital she was born in?
Investigators have looked. There is no record of him in Hawaii.
