That’s ok.
I prefer my guns loaded anyway.
Police don't believe in 2nd amendment rights for anyone except police.
Thank God they’re busily tackling that budget deficit....
This is ridiculous!
So, now it’s illegal to conceal carry (w/o permit)[State], and open carry [loaded], and open carry [unloaded]... sounds to me like that’s all the options for bearing arms.
Time to charge the city, and the police who enforce it, with Conspiracy Against Rights [ http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/718/usc_sec_18_00000241——000-.html ] and Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law [ http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/718/usc_sec_18_00000242——000-.html ].
So no more open carry. Unless you have a ccw, it looks like the only way to carry a handgun is unloaded and locked in a case. What bastards.
Seems fair.....The crooks disarm the righteous, but let their fellow crooks free to do what they want...... >PS
Kalifornia Moron Leftist Legislators: “And NO RUNNING with scissors!”
No surprise, they hate guns here with a passion. The dimwits in San Fran even tried to totally ban handguns (got something like 80% of the popular vote) with a proposition that passed but was shot down as unconstitutional (state preemption, not 2nd).
Our only hope is the nut case Brown who does happen to be slightly to the right of Meg Whitman on this issue so there is some hope (however slight) that he might veto this bill. I’m not holding my breath and I doubt that the federal courts will get involved because you can still (theoretically in the populated counties and somewhat easily in the rural counties) get a ccw. Sucks but I see most of the population going along with this, at least until the next riot, but by then it will be too late.
The California Open Carry groups wanted this confrontation and they got it, only with really bad results.
In-Your-face rarely works for conservatives, and this is a great example.
We must will this case in the courts, not in the street of the Left Coast. Those are lost to us.
Maybe some of these people could have lived to eat their hamburgers if they had weapons with them.
Ed Worley, the NRA state liaison for CA was on NRA News last night. The audio for that interview is here...

The supporters of AB144 should be careful what they wish for... They might get it.
