I think Martinez is doing a better than expected job, personally.

One of the first things she did was issue an executive order to over turn a state environmental commission’s vote on a state cap and trade tax. That was a Richardson deal and the 3 person commission voted at 11:30 pm on election night to approve that crap (NM politics in fine form). The next thing she did was show those morons the door.

If she hadn’t done that then I would have been concerned. That was in your face politics and something I would like to see on the National level.

This sounds like state crimes, a job for the demo governor

Except, there ain't no demo governor.

She's a repub governor. An ex-prosecutor, in fact.

I think the guy is corrupt as they get. He is a jedi knight of corruption. “These are not the droids you are looking for” and “This is not the money you are looking for”.

They just announced that they have suspended the Murphy guy. I am sure he is sleeping well.

I think [Richardson] is corrupt as they get. He is a jedi knight of corruption.

Richardson studied corruption at the feet of Bill Clinton.

He thought he learned how to practice corruption...and get away with it.

Sorry, governor, we knew Bill Clinton. And you're no Bill Clinton.

And that is way nobody should be surprised that this could be happening on a much larger level than New Mexico. Especially since everything is decided in the courts it seems these days.

Im a transplanted Chicagolander in NM. Sorta miss (in a demented way) the news coverage of the the mob hit victims being found in the trunks of rental cars at Ohare, or Arlington Park. NM pols are straight-up grafting patrons.

The MSM is at it again. 'they refuse to put the big "D" in front of or behind Bill Richardson's name.

My Dad is from Chicago. I have spent lots of time there but prefer the west. At least I can ride my motorcycle in the desert and be alone when need be. I do love that. Chicago can be a lot of fun and Kinda in a San Francisco way. I am usually always glad to get the hell out :-)

I really was surprised at the corruption here in NM when I moved here but not so much now.

I wasn’t sure this has even made it out of New Mexico yet. It is starting to ferment here nicely.

I am not surprised about the “D” it really should be an “S” for sleaze anyways :-)

To think that Hillary Clinton could have been the cleanest of all the Democrat candidates for president in 2008!

Matt Chandler called in the radio show and sound very determined to see this to the end. The AG King can ignore this all he wants but he is going to be boxed into a corner. People here are starting to vote against the corruption here and he want to run for governor. Martinez won and Secretary of State Duran won in a landslide against the corrupt Herra. That was the first time a Republican has held that seat in 90 years.

You just can’t take anything for granted.

Finally here. He wouldn’t have won a third term. Now he is free to snake around some other state and suck the life out of it.
