Abbas: Blood of those killed fighting for Palestinian freedom will not go to waste In televised address, Palestinian president says Nakba Day protests proved that 'the will of people is stronger than the power of oppressive forces.' By DPA and Haaretz Service Tags: Mahmoud Abbas
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said Sunday that the blood of those killed fighting for the rights of the Palestinian people will not go to waste.
Abbas was referring to the protesters killed on Israel's borders with Lebanon and Syria as well as in the Gaza Strip as they were marking Nakba Day.
"Their blood will not go to waste," said Abbas in a televised address. "Their blood was spilled for the freedom of our Palestinian people and for its rights."
Abbas said the participation of a large number of people in the protests was proof that "right is stronger than time, and the will of people is stronger than the power of the oppressive forces and the occupiers."

It was OK to creat Pakistan for Muslims - millions of people, Hindu as well as Muslim migrated to make a nation for Muslims.
But, by God, no nation for Jews! Nearly a million Jews from Arab lands have migrate into Israel during the past 60 years and all the Muslims do is bitch about it.

They aren't free?
Since they are not living in lands occupied by Israel or any other outside entity this sounds like an internal problem with their own governance.
Or by "freedom" do they mean the freedom to enter Israel at will and kill Israelis without facing resistance or retribution?
As long as their blood is spilled, I think Israel can handle the aftermath. And the presentmath.

Your post poses the question and the answer very well.
I can’t understand why after the number of years involved and the amount of foreign aid received the Palestinians have been unable to form a viable government.
It might give them some credibility.
But maybe being consumed by hatred and the inability to forfeit the “victim” persona precludes such an event.
I pray that this doesn’t spiral out of control.

Yes, the line was smarter than I was, evidently.
That blood never goes to waste, since the Jews gather it all up and drink it. /s
