I can confirm what you heard on Rush Limbaugh, and you heard it correctly.

Now the question begs: since he was so besotten with Hilderbeast in the last election - does he have a bomb to drop on The Won that will take him out of the picture, leaving the opening for Hilderbeast to 'sacrifice' her 'retirement' and jump into the race?

I sure hope not. I hope The Donald has seen the edge of he cliff for our country, our freedoms and especially, the free Capitalist system that allows him to create his businesses. Maybe he has realized that these people are not his dad's Democrats.

And Welcome aboard!

You’re right. There’s no argument at all. Trump is no conservative, let alone a Republican. You keep on fooling yourself.

As I, and many have said already, kudos for Trump for going hard after Obama. But conservative, let alone GOP nominee? Hell no.

The two-party system is funny that way, isn't it?

You have Center Right and Center Left, and they differ from one another only by emphasis and voting habit. Then you have the Right and the Left. Finally, there are the Conservatives and the Socialists.

Voting is not an intellectual decision for most people. For example, you and your Dad might be in 90% in agreement politically, but he simply would not have dreamed of voting Republican, except for Reagan ... or an Eisenhower! That's why I am semi-seriously pushing Petraeus!

So make your own list.

Well, making my own list of all the reasons Trump is NOT a conservative will apparently not be necessary since "the Donald" dropped out of the race already. Didn't Trump say we'd all be really surprised about his decision? Some surprise. Instead it turns out his decision was exactly what most people thought, a big fat NO.

And what happened to all that "amazing" information his investigators supposedly dug up on Obama's birth certificate? You know, all the stuff he claimed they "couldn't believe they are finding".

I do hope now you realize the whole thing was nothing but a publicity stunt. Don't let a guy like Trump fool you in the future.

Yeah, today can't be a good day for the kool-aid drinkers with their guy Trump out of the race. You mean he REALLY wasn't serious about "saving America"? I'm shocked, I tell you, shocked! Now they will have to find another smooth-talking liberal scam artist to sell them kool-aid. ;-)

Given the unfortunately high number of conservatives who don't give a crap about a candidate's record, career, life story, etc., and are only looking for someone who loudly parrots their world view, we could have a lot of fun rooting out the useful idiot wing of the GOP in 2012. Perhaps it would make a nice April Fools Day gag. Get Alan Grayson to make a phony annoucement that he's seeking the GOP nomination to run against Bill Nelson as the "tea party candidate". Get Alec Baldwin to announce he's going to bring back "real conservative values" to New York. Make a live annoucement that Cynthia McKinney is going to challenge some RINO in Georgia because she's upset he's not promoting Christian values. Al Gore to run against Bob Corker in TN? Susan Sarandon (R) vs. Kirsten Gillibrand (D)? The possiblities are endless. Give them bulleted talking points they are obviously are 100% opposed to (repeal Obamacare, abolish the Dept. of Education, pass a human life amendment, etc.) and in the spite of April Fools Day, get these socialists to look straight into the camera and say it with conviction while lying thru teeth.

I bet within 10 mins. of their "annoucement", a bunch of newly registered freepers will be telling us Alan Grayson and Cythnia McKinney are the new face of the tea party, and a bunch of CNN-approved "conservative" talking heads will be making the rounds to tell how refreshing it is that these "fed up patriotic Americans are now stepping up to plate and doing something about it".

Honestly, I think if Hillary Clinton announced as a Republican tomorrow she’d get as much if not more support from “freepers” than Trump did. It’s crazy.

Nope, that list was compromised from Trump's own mouth, unless you consider Donald Trump's book, The America We Deserve, to be an "anti-Trump hit piece".

"We must have universal health care" , "I'm very pro-choice,", "Nancy Pelosi, you're the best", etc. are quotes from Trump verbatim, no embellishment needed.

The only difference is I was citing his positions from 1971-2010, you were citing his new "tea party" positions he claimed to hold in 2011. I choose to believe his own statements he made during the last 30 years, you choose to believe new statements he's made in the past few monthes that don't gel with any of his past statements.

I guess with Trump out of the race, you will have to find a new RINO self-parody to tout for leader of the free world. Is Britney Spears avialable? Maybe she can run on a platform of traditional family values, women dressing modestly, and getting sex out of the music industry.

I am sorry to say, but if Britney Spears did that AND flogged the birth certificate issue she would get some support from the die hard birther types. They'd say she was the only one with the guts to take on Obama.

For the most part Trump was the birther candidate. That is where the real energy for him was. Yeah, he threw a lot of random red meat out there, but it was the birther stuff that a small but vocal subsection of the base grabbed hold of. That is why Trump the clown stuck on the birther issue for so long and it is why when Obama released the long form Trump's potential candidacy exploded.

It was sad to see so many people throw actual conservatism overboard in favor of buffoonish trash talk and conspiracy peddling. Fortunately, the Trump saga is done and we can hope some of the folks that latched on to him learned something from it.
