And really, it is one horrible thing to be totally dirt ball attacked by the Socialists (Democrats) but really maddening to be attacked by their friends across the aisle; the GOP Rove Establishment when you are running as a Republican.
A good size of Americans want a third party. The GOP is the Democrats and the Democrats are the GOP. They have failed to defund Obamacare which was behind the the large size of the Tea Party which gave them power in the last election. They changed the rank and file in the house but not the brain dead leaders.

In any case, ALL of the Republicans taking a serious look at a presidential campaign have the b@lls to take on Obama. I haven't seen one potential challenger yet who is saying "gee whiz, Obama is doing a pretty good job, I wouldn't want to say anything critical of him."
So a guy with a 30+ year proven record of liberal positions and support for liberal causes (Trump) gets a "serious look" from you if he shows up one day out of thin air and conveniently announces he's now a tea party conservative? How special. It's cute how freepers with crucify a guy like Trey Greyson for voting Democrat ONE time 18 years ago, while giving a pass to Donald Trump for being a unrepentent liberal douchebag until a few months ago.
Tell me, if Howard Dean shows up at a tea party rally tomorrow and claims to be "a conservative with the b@lls to take on Obama", will you give him a "serious look" too?

You could have made a stronger argument. Donald Trump is notorious for campaign contributions to democrats. He is also the only campaigner in America attacking Obama from the old left.
Trump is out for Trump, and likely to co-op the 'conservative' label to make all real conservatives look like the kook he's become.

If the Democrat Party had a functioning brain, they would grab Trump and run him against the Mombasa Moonbeam in the primaries. He would wipe the floor with him in debates.
If the Republicans had a half a brain, they might well do the same. However, the Donald is much more at home in the Democrat Party. (IMHAOWO)
Also however, the Democrat Party often feels that this vote is theirs automatically, pays little attention to these people because they are in districts that often can be carried by the black vote. But, if they look like they would jump Republican, a Trump would be a good choice for the Democrats.

People miss that part. My Dad was Democrat from the day he was born until the day he died and he wouldn’t disagree with any of that.

Trump’s 15 min of fame are over. Thank God. He’s not a conservative, period.

Trump said if he doesn’t get the GOP nod, he’d consider running as an independent. IOW, if the GOP doesn’t pick me, I’m going to give you 4 more years of Obama.
