Wonder how Herman Cain feels about the H1B visa program. Will he side with American workers who are losing their jobs to nationals from India or will he side with the Chamber of Commerce RINOs like Orrin Hatch.
- Cut government spending across the board, then drill down and eliminate wasteful programs and agencies.
DEFUND THE EPA, THE UN AND ANYTHING WHERE THE FEDS ARE CONNECTED TO EDUCATION!
Herman Cain did not get where he is today by being soft, stupid and thin skinned. He will take what they send out his way and he will stand tall like a real man and a real American. That man is tough. PLUS...he SMILES and is PLEASANT to listen to and is more like how we used to view Presidents years ago. We may not agree with all issues but...we still like the man and we KNOW he is a true American who loves his country and will bring it back to its greatness!!! Works for me. I LIKE Herman Cain and if he puts his hat in the ring...I’ll gladly lick and address envelopes!!! Herman Cain 2012
I was hoping for a pizza subsidy....
But - did anyone see Mark Steyn on Hannity’s show last night? He just dismissed Cain, Palin, and other conservatives in favor of Tim Pawlenty, who he thought was maybe the best of a bad lot.
Mr. Steyn, meet the shark...
I'm not really a T-Paw fan, but I do see the logic in running someone safe, sane, objectively qualified and without massive negatives.
I think Cain did very well, and by far was the winner of the Fox debate. It's a hell of a risk going with someone who's never run for office before, though. You might not be corrupted by the system, but running the election gauntlet in at least one tough race will show any critical defects that need to be addressed. He's a smart guy, a solid businessman and he talks the conservative talk like a champion. I don't know that an independent voter is going to give 'the Pizza guy' the same attention they would a Governor or Senator.
Palin certainly found that out the hard way. She brings a lot to the table if she runs, but she can't crack 50% by herself. She's a lot more clear and competent sounding these days, and you can tell she's learned a lot over the last 2 1/2 years about dealing with the media. She needs a lot more public image overhaul before she'll get a fair shake from independents, even ones who are tiring rapidly of Obama. Will she be ready by 2012? Hard to say.
There's a winning campaign formula, if I ever saw one. It's in perfect alignment with the Tea-publican stance.
Our universities are turning out mostly social activists with degrees of negligible value in the market place. Thus, we use the H1B visa program to hire personnel to run and work in our companies.
If you have a degree in the Pure and Applied Sciences or medicine there are plenty of jobs for you.
You mean the Chamber of Commerce that has the audacity to think a business has the right to make their own decisions? THAT Chamber?
Or do you, as a conservative, pick and choose which causes you think big brother government should get involved with because you think there’s this vast reservoir of hard working honest talented folks who are unemployed because their meanie fat cat bosses outsourced their jobs?
Hmmm. You may not like it, but Cain would never support the government telling a business anything about where they should hire, fire or locate. He would however be in favor of the government getting the hell out of the way so that hiring Americans would be more profitable.
Not the corporate tax rate.
I like Herman Cain, too. I would love to see him succeed!
Well then, let’s hope he gets elected and see what he can do.
At least he has a plan and has stated it.
Maybe it will bring in some support money?
I’m still waiting for John Kerry’s plan, I mean... I...I did
really want to hear it, didn’t you all?
That’s probably one of the reasons we never seem to get a president that really gets to do what he says he will.
When the biggies can pay no taxes via the loopholes, it doesn’t matter what the corporate tax rate is. If Zero taxes is not enough to create jobs, then what is?
Good point.
However, I believe these loopholes should be closed as well.
At this point Cain is definitely "The MAN with the PLAN".
I like his thinking, I like his attitude. He just may be the solution to FIXING our BROKEN system of government.
