SEN. RAND PAUL (R-KY): "With regard to the idea of whether you have a right to health care, you have realize what that implies. It's not an abstraction. I’m a physician. That means you have a right to come to my house and conscript me. It means you believe in slavery."

I hope that Senator Paul is equally attacking, both, Obama and Romney.

Who’ll be first to make an illogical response?

He is right. Without an amendment to the Constitution.

Unpaid jobs: The new normal? (HopeyChangey...)

Won’t “health care workers” need to work for free if obama prevails and continues his unconstitutional Universal Health Care as the dictator (that he is)? After all, healthcare is a “right” and if doctors and nurses have the training to “provide” this “right”, shouldn’t they be required to “provide” this “right” even if they are unpaid? /s

Down the road this argument also leads to closing the borders in reverse, as in Nazi germany or the Soviet Union, where since the government trained you (in some way subsidized the eductaion) to be a health care worker, you have no right to leave, or must pay for the privilege.

I really like this guy, we need about 60 more in the Senate.

Well, maybe only 57 - there might be about 3 guys already there who aren’t worthless.

It would repeal the Bill of Rights in favor of the Communist manifesto.

Chgo Sun-Times Says Healthcare is a Right
Wednesday, December 30, 2009 1:50:50 PM · 6 of 17
bolobaby to Mobile Vulgus

Three people are stranded on a desert island. One is a doctor.

They decide that to live amicably, they should establish some RIGHTS that cannot be infringed upon. They decide on many rights that are in the Constitution: you can’t make another person shut up, no one can go rifling through the other’s belongings, everyone gets to practice whatever religion they want, everyone can carrying a spear, etc.

The two non-doctors decide that health care is a RIGHT. What does that make the doctor?

A *slave*.

He must now provide labor for which he is best suited to the others on demand.

By establishing health care as a right, we remove the doctor’s ability to provide services at his discretion. THAT INCLUDES WHETHER OR NOT THE DOCTOR CAN REFUSE TO PERFORM AN ABORTION, since leftists view that as “health care” and refusing to perform the service would be denying someone their rights.

We're already in the slavery mode. The next step is to relegate citizens to pet status - dependent on a "superior entity" for our well-being. After that, the final step will be to relegate us to livestock status; living at the pleasure of the "elites", only without the same protections they try to afford animals and "Mother Nature".

The slope has been put in place and the lubricant is being poured to accelerate the plunge...

Slavery would still be slavery, with or without an amendment to the constitution.

By their actions and words, many liberal politicians have made it clear that they already consider us as livestock. That is the belief expressed every time they say that tax cuts must be "paid for." We are not real human beings to them; we exist only for them to engage in their political games.
