Tears and a two-mile-long line mark opening of the first In-N-Out Burger joints in Texas

If you know anyone from Southern California, you've probably heard them wax poetic about In-N-Out Burger.

The legendary family-run chain is now winning over legions of new fans, but farther east than ever before as two new restaurants open in the north Texas towns of Frisco and Allen.

Cars lined up as far as two miles for the drive-thrus, and fans spent the night in the parking lot, for the chance to get a bite of the first In-N-Out burgers east of Arizona.

Danielle DeInnocentes of The Colony, Texas, broke into tears after she bit into a Double-Double, a famous In-N-Out sandwich made from two meat patties and two slices of cheese.

Ms DeInnocentes is originally from Rialto, California, and in a video posted online, she says she is ecstatic that In-N-Out opened a restaurant two miles from her house.

She told restaurant staff: 'You're going to see my every day'.

Ms DeInnocentes called the Double-Double 'the best hamburger in the world', and said, 'Pinch me, it doesn't feel real!'

When I did live in So Cal and did eat fast food burgers, Carl’s Jr’s Western Star hit the spot.

It was cheap and was flavor country

Cheese boiger, with fried onion rings, and BBQ sauce. mash it down and eat.
Simple

Carls is now expensive and has lost the code.

People should realize that they can make just as good a burger on a Weber Kettle at home.

“America is doomed if this is an emotional experience.”

The caption beneath the picture read: ‘Tears of delight: Danielle DeInnocentes of The Colony, Texas sheds tears of joy after eight years living away from the chain she had grown to love in California’.

It seems that absence does indeed make the heart grow fonder. LOL.

Although, in her case, if she isn’t simply being melodramatic for effect...that WOULD be problem!

I take it you've never tried a double-double ;)

Make that "animal style".

It really is the best fast food burger and fries I have ever had, and the organization is family run, family friendly, and very Christian.

I wouldn’t shed a tear, nor would I wait in a two mile line, but it’s one awesome burger experience!

Also, annoying neighbors.

“I cannot imagine having such a vapid life that a hamburger brings tears.”

That was my initial thought too. That gal seriously needs to get a life.

They just opened a Carl’s down the road from me but I haven’t been there yet. For the first couple of weeks it was packed every day - all day.

Chuckle, the same could be said about taking the time to comment on the people 'who have such vapid lives'.

In N out is really, really good. Here in Hollywood, I live 2 blocks away from one...

...the one In N out where Paris Hilton finally got a DUI and was hauled to jail. Her legendary confession? “I was just going to In N Out, officer..”

I hate L.A. but there are stuff here I don’t get anywhere else in the 57 states.
