Thinking about criticizing Meghan McCain’s figure? You should probably hit the gym first and make sure you’ve got Aaron Schock abs.
Or, like radio host Glenn Beck did on Thursday, you might get a taste of your own medicine.
McCain fired back at Beck in an open letter on the Daily Beast after he and his co-hosts used McCain’s skin cancer PSA as fodder on their Wednesday show.
“As a person who is known for his hot body, you must find it easy to judge the weight fluctuations of others, especially young women,” McCain wrote with a shake of sarcasm thrown in.
If you’re not familiar with the back-story, Meghan McCain was featured in a recently released “Naked” PSA for skin cancer prevention. Though she and others in the PSA were meant to appear nude, McCain revealed no more than she would have in a strapless dress. (And it turns out she was wearing a dress during the filming.) Beck viewed the PSA during his show and coupled his commentary with a very long fake puking session. Every time he said her name, he would pretend to lose his lunch.

Poor Meghan.... she was probably so distraught she ate an entire cheesecake after Beck made fun of her.

It’s kind of a Arizona comic opera if you ask me. We could write a screenplay over this...go to New York City...and win a Tony Award with this kind of act.

You can spot a progressive by the rage Glenn inspires in them.
She should go away. But really Beck is making fun of her weight when he weighs a ton himself. There is many things to criticize folks on but if you are as fat as the person you are criticizing then that is just plain strange. Beck could have spoken about many many topics that she is wrong on.
I see Meghan likes to play the injured woman when it suits her... Man, is she tiresome!
ABC-Disney-Hyperion is publishing her book timed to be released for the next election season. The media monopoly and DNC will KEEP her relevant.
OTOH, Glenn Beck isn’t appearing in ads where he is apparently naked. Just sayin’...

She put herself out there in an ad campaign as a “naked model” (not really naked nor really a pretty model).
If she doesn’t want to be judged on superficial grounds, she should not engage in superficial publicity stunts based on personal appearance and hype.
I like Glenn Beck, but making fun of her weight does seem a bit unworthy of him. There are so many other things you could make fun of when talking about the Trust Fund Baby.
I heard that part of Beck’s show yesterday, he didn’t just make an offhand comment, he spend a good 1/2 hour on this. He would pretend to play the PSA, then you would hear puking sounds in the background when her picture would appear, he would apologize and say someone on his staff was sick from travel. It was mildly amusing the first time, but then they ran it into the ground.
