Big deal. Americans working for foreigners who reap the profits. I’m hardly excited
Georgia is a Right To Work state, so expect the National Labor Relations Board to try to strike it down.
Porsche to build $100 million HQ near Atlanta airport

Suck it, New York and California and Michigan.
I'm with ya on that, there's no reason to be happy about any U.S. citizens becoming gainfully employed at the hand of foreign investors.............
And it's time we kick Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mercedez, Jaguar, etc... out of this country and close down their damn plants!
Now, does that make you happy?
As a side note, eliminating "right to work" laws should take care of your problem.......Would that make you happy now?
.......beats having them built elsewhere.
This will be built just south of Atlanta in Hapeville on the site of the former Ford plant where the Escort and Taurus were built. It is a HUGE property, I was in there a few times when the Taurus was being built back in the mid-late 80’s.
“The state offered $1.75 million in job tax credits, as Porsche will be moving a division from Chicago and creating about 100 new jobs...
The Georgia Department of Transportation is adding $800,000 in infrastructure improvements to the package....
Other local incentives were not yet made public...”
Capitalism is about making profits and who makes those profits. In this case the profits go to foreigners. If it were up to me Porsche would get the boot along with Toyota and Nissan. We have Americans who can make automobiles. We are not a 3rd world country that does not have the capability or technology
Read post 12. Porsche was given millions in taxpayer money to to move to Georgia. Why should taxpayers give welfare money to foreign corporations?
IN what factories if you get your way and have all the foreign imports kicked out of this country?
Well per common FR thinking, the only kind of acceptable auto to purchase is from one these type outfits.
Boot them out over a five year period. Ford and GM can gear up over 5 years. So can Chrysler though it is Italian owned these days? By Fiat?
Just go back to the way it was 25 years ago when most American automobiles were made by American owned and operated corporations. This time make sure the unions don't take over
Well per common FR thinking, the only kind of acceptable auto to purchase is from one these type outfits. >>>>>>>>>
Plus those freepers will buy Japanese rather over a union made American automobile due to an insane hatred for unions
Other U.S. operations moving to Atlanta include Porsche Financial Services Inc. and Porsche Business Services Inc., both currently located in Lisle, Ill. A now-shuttered Ford Motor Co.
Yep, the NLRB will put a stop to this, They have to keep those businesses in Illinois to support the Unions there.
