Ron Paul is set to officially launch his presidential campaign Friday morning, a Paul source told POLITICO.

The Texas congressman will make his announcement from New Hampshire during the 7:00 a.m. hour of ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Paul is then scheduled to speak at 10:00 a.m. in Exeter, part of a two-day swing through New Hampshire following a stop in Iowa. Paul will also be keynoting the Grafton County Republican Memorial dinner on Friday night.

World events are headed in Ron Paul’s direction, a direction that he has been running on for 35 years. A constitutional government, government departments that should be elimated, the federal reserve that has taken our country down like a turd in a tank for the past 98 years. The closer 2012 gets the worse off we will be. Ron Paul may not be the nominee for president but he will be as close as 8 or 10 of the others that are running - the debate is still swinging his way.

He had a few fun remarks in the first debate but I don’t take him seriously as a candidate. I’m sure he doesn’t either.

Ron Paul blames America for terrorist attacks on this country.

Ron Paul rated 35% by the NAACP, indicating a mixed record on affirmative-action.

Ron Paul rated 38% by the HRC, indicating a mixed record on gay rights.

Ron Paul voted NO on Constitutional Amendment banning same-sex marriage.

Ron Paul opposes the death penalty on both state and federal levels.

Ron Paul wants to repeal all drug laws.

Ron Paul voted NO on prohibiting lawsuits against gun manufacturers.

Conservatives old enough to remember his attacks on Reagan know what a loon he is.

Thankfully, he has ZERO chance of getting the Republican nomination.

He will be in Lebanon, N.H. on Friday night. 6:00 PM. Tickets are $45.00, buffet dinner. Several tea party attendees will be there. I want to hear him speak.

I want to hear him speak.

A little taste of Ron Paul ...

In the space of 24 hours, Rep. Ron Paul (R., Texas) has voted for tax hikes, against censure for Charlie Rangel, and defended Julian Assange.

Ron Paul votes to homosexualize the US Military

Ron Paul hearts Debra Medina

I’m on the Ron Paul threads to defend Ron Paul, but I also do understand, and agree with, things like “Sarah Palin is a superstar who will win in Nov 2012”.

I characterize Ron Paul as a true, old school, Conservative. I know others don’t.

I don’t read all the Cain threads, but I haven’t seen too much of anti-Cain from Paul people on any threads. Not saying it isn’t there.

Most attacks I’ve seen on any of the Conservatives (and I include Palin, Paul, Cain, Bachmann in that category, but others have different lists) are from people who won’t say who they’re for. They probably support RINOs, but they know that their RINO of the moment could be attacked with more effectiveness than they are able to do to a conservative.

The best you can do is that the NAACP doesn’t like him, but doesn’t hate him as much as you’d like?

35% is below average. 38% is below average.

Does Ron Paul want to repeal all drug laws?

Or just UNCONSTITUTIONAL FEDERAl drug laws?

Ron Paul stands with the Tea Party for Limited Constitutional Government.

The strongest, truthful argument against Ron Paul is that he’s TOO Conservative, and that a Federal Government that is Limited to what the Constitutional explicitly allows would lead to more problems than the Bush / RINO version of Big Government “Conservativism” has.

Because Ron Paul’s version of Conservativism is the “Limited Constutional Government” type.

It’s nice that you see that photo that way.

But you know that your photo is a photo with a world leader.

And the 2 Rons photo is simply 2 Conservatives, Paul supporting Reagan.

Is he actually going to stand up against Obama for the democratic nomination? How are they going to debate? They agree on almost everything.
They both blame America for every problem in the world. They both think if we just kiss a little more musslime butt they will like us more. They both hate our military. They both want queers sharing quarters with the brave men and women who protect our country. About the only difference is the king thought we were better off killing osama, and cut and run thought we did not need to get rid of him.

How much is Obama’s secret backers going to secretly put into Paul’s third party run?

It’s a “Ross Perot/Bill Clinton” scenario all over again.

Libertarian ideas are not my cup of tea but the personal hate is puzzling.

What puzzles me is cut and run's hate of America.

So laws prohibiting use of heroin are unconstitutional? lol!

Heck, with that rationale loony Ron Paul might get more than just the drug user vote. I'm not holding my breath, though.

Great post. But it won’t deter the liberals who want this loon to get the nomination so Obama is assured a second term.

Ron Paul believes in much SMALLER government.

If Ron Paul debated Obama on foreign policy, he’d probably point out that Obama believes in unnecessary wars, and is no different from Bush in that regard.

Ron Paul wants cuts across the board. Obama wants increases across the board. Bush gave us increases.

You support Obama?

Remember Prohibition?

Remember how a Constitutional Amendment was required to ban alcohol?

I don’t remember any anti-drugs Constitutional Amendments, just the FedGov grabbing more power for itself.

I don’t think that Ron Paul wants to remove state laws regarding drugs.

Ron Paul believes in a Limited Constitutional Government.

There are many things the Federal Government does that the Constitution does not empower the Federal Government to do.

Ron Paul and Tea Party Conservatives want to Federal Government to stop interfering where the Constitution does not explicitly enable them to interfere.

I’m sure there are types of Conservatives that don’t agree with the tea party and want more Federal Government. Perhaps that the type of Conservative that you are?

There are lots of Conservatives like that. People who call themselves “Conservative” and want to ban a whole bunch of things. Because they call themselves “Conservative”, if they want the Federal Government to do something, it’s automatically considered Conservative. “Conservative”, to them, is whatever they, a “Conservative”, wants to do.

That must be the type of “Conservative” that you are. “Conservative” is whatever you like at any particular moment, and often it means Big Government.

Look to someone like Bloomberg for a 3rd Party run, not to Ron Paul.

I agree with Bush. The war on Terror is necessary. Cut and run wants to blame America for every problem in the world. Cut and run's terrorist buddies did not attack us because we were too strong, they attacked us because they thought we would not fight back. Cut and run thinks we can put our head in the sand and everything will be all right.

You support Obama?

No, but not even obama hates America as much as the ostrichman.
