You know, I was just watching birds feed at my feeder, and the following occurred to me.

Why don’t blue jays mate with mourning doves? They are all part of the bird “race”, are they not?

Why does the cardinal not mate with the finch? They are all part of the bird “race”, are they not?

Why do salmon not mate with bass? They are all part of the fish “race” are they not?

Why does the orca not mate with the sperm whale? They are all part of the whale “race” are they not?

Do you think that it’s possible that the animal kingdom has a better understanding of reproduction and its purpose than humans do?

I’m starting to think that this is, in fact, the case.

That makes no sense at all. Doves don’t mate with blue jays because nothing would happen. Blacks and whites can produce babies because we are all human.
