So what would make one think they'd work on any time scale? A model is physics-based, or it is algorithmic, non closed-form approximations, manipulations, etc. of empirical data. I contend the empirical data they use is manufactured, filched, cherry picked, etc. and they have no physics based foundation to speak of in short - bullshit.
By equivocating weather vs climate, we excuse the impreciseness of their method and their accuracy, that's all. In the end, at any given instant in their concocted timelines, weather and climate are the same.
