Welcome to New York One-Party politics.
They’re all democrats, no matter what party they run under.

I live next to this district, so I see all the Ads.
Jack Davis is a FRAUD. He ran as a Democrat each of the last 3 races, spending millions of his own money each time. The local organizer of the real Tea Party protests said he would NEVER give any support to Davis and that voters should not be fooled.
Davis is running over-simplified and emotional ads about how neither D nor R can be trusted, and “rich” people on Wall Street are “shipping jobs to China.” There is no substance. He’s just trying to split the vote.
The local TV media have basically ignored that aspect, and are engaging in scare tactics (Repubs will eliminate medicare!) as their narrative.

I'm in the district and get at least three calls a day from (GOP) Jane Corwin's campaign or polling service.
Yesterday, I had someone knock on my door from her office.
At one time I think she was the odds on favorite, but now looks like she isn't taking any chances.

Sounds like a visit from Michele Bachmann or Sarah Palin on behalf of Corwin might be in order.

—More empty populism.
“The local TV media have basically ignored that aspect, and are engaging in scare tactics (Repubs will eliminate medicare!) as their narrative.”
—Maybe Corwin should endorse the Toomey proposal.

Since I have VOIP, I captured their CID numbers and now have their calls automatically forwarded to Louise (AKA "Sargent") Slaughter's local office.

Gee and 52% of Republicans want a “third” party. Yeah so Democrats can run as “Tea Party” candidates and split the conservative vote
frickin brilliant

Which areas of the district are Jack Davis running most strongly in? That needs ot be checked and Jane Corwin needs to concentrate her strongest efforts there.

John Boehner was in Buffalo yesterday ... zzzzzzz.
Agree - Bachmann or Palin would have a much stronger impact.
