Not surprising, given that this was the Bosnian Muslim WWII flag:
Many German Nazis also escaped to the ME and became high ranking officials in several Arab governments after the war.
There are those who believe that Nazism never really died, but rather migrated, went underground in the ME and Europe, morphed ( into the EU and Islamofascism) and then returned again about 20 years ago to start all over. The main difference being that this time the US is on their side.
If this were true, it would explain the rise of anti-Semitism and anti-Serbianism at the same time. It would explain why Nazi Germany's old allies in the Balkans and in the ME have been elevated in stature, why the Westphalian sovereignty of both Serbia and Israel is being routinely ignored, and why NATO has been allowed to morph into something that it never was chartered to be -- an aggressive rather than defensive organization. It would even explain the rise of globalism and George Bush Sr's 1992 remark about "a New World Order".
Frankly, I can't argue to hard against this theory because I think there may be something to it.
That’s a collar tab from a military unit, not a national flag. A unit flag was used with the hand and sword and no swastika. Bosnia was under Croatian control during the war.
When in doubt, follow the money. Find out who financed Nazis to put them in power in Germany. Follow what happened with both financiers and Nazis after WWII.
Here are the breadcrumbs
Bertelsmann was purveyor of Nazi books for Wehrmacht before and during WWII. Today, Bertelsmann is one of the most powerful media conglomerates. Money trail will make you puke.
Alfried Krupp was charged in Nuremberg. U.S. Mulitary Governor overturned the ruling and returned all looted property to Krupp, along with pardoning tens of thousands of other Nazis. Check the bio of this guy : John J. McCloy.
This will answer your question.
Nazism never faded away because denazification was a joke.
