Luckily, I had to use a syringe and she had a tooth removed, so I have to pry her mouth open through that missing tooth!
A pill? Forget it, not happening. Only way I could give her a pill is to crush it into a tiny bit of mushy food, small enough so I'd know she'd eat it all.
I’m always amazed at how vets can do it so effortlessly.
My Finbar had earmites when he was a kitten and the vet gave me drops to put in his ears twice a day.
I discovered that cats can clamp those ears down on the sides of their heads quite tightly.
I think I got as much of the ear drops on me as I did into Finbar's ears.
The two of us were both equally happy when the ten-day dosage period ended and the earmites were gone.
