Weren’t college tuitions in the CA system back then heavily subsidized making the much lower for the student ( and more expensive for the tax payer) making this comparison questionable? I believe the subsidies are reduced during the ‘90’s
I believe the tuitions at the UC’s and the CSU’s are still heavily subsidized. Does anyone have a breakdown of the California State taxes?
